It's a tag agency right? We all know what they are and what services are provided but here's a couple of things. 1.) They have a cool little gift store that's incorporated into the business. If you have to wait around it's fun to look at the gift items they have available. There's even a handful of things geared towards us dudes! 2.) The ladies that work here are super friendly! How many tag agencies have we been to in Oklahoma where it's just dry and not fun ya know? In closing, since you have options to visit whicher tag agency you'd like, I'd say it's worth the trip to south BA just to get great customer service and buy a gift for your S.O.! read more

Having to deal with the Oklahoma Tag Nazis has always ranked with me, somewhere between a colonoscopy and a root canal. But, I gotta give Indian Springs credit for how they are handling the OK Real ID Drivers license. Even though this place reeks old school Oklahoma tag office, ran by retirees, operated in a small office packed with totally non-essential home décor items, they have a good system: online appointment reservations vs. show up and hope you get in that day. That's what got me in the door. With every other agency I checked, their system was show up and wait. Most agents only process a little over 35 a day. It you are there early enough and willing to wait ....you might get in. I made our reservations through the Indian Springs online system; showed up at the reserved appointment time and my wife and I were out in a little less than an hour. If you need to renew your DL make sure you thoroughly and carefully read the documentation requirements for the for the Real ID. If you show up, and don't have your documents exactly in order, I fear for your safety ... you may be facing a firing squad! Indian Springs is not my agency of choice in the Broken Arrow area, but they get a couple of stars for their online reservation system. Hopefully if the Oklahoma Government computer system is up and functioning (it crashes a lot) you can get in and out reasonably fast and without a traumatizing experience. Oh, and while we are on the topic... if we can have a tag agency inside a gift shop why can't we have one inside a bar and grill, or a bowling alley, or a Mexican restaurant or shooting range or a movie theater. This is the equivalent of my old small town feeling tag agent. It's not quite "Cheers" where everyone knows your name, but it's as close as you're gonna get in a city of 120k. They're just so nice! We rushed in at 5 on a Friday of a 3 day weekend with a moderately complicated situation and the solved it with a smile! We've patronized them for over 30 years and this is why! I call in the lady is obviously in a bad mood. I come in and more rude treatment. Look you don't have to be kind, but how about just halfway decent. Is it my accent or do you just hate life a lot in general? Still not my fault. Now give me service with a smile (or just plain decency) or get some new helpers that can. When I came in around 4:30 pm yesterday 03/31/23 and asked the first person where I could pickup my Pike Pass, the lady was beyond rude. She looked so absolutely annoyed that I even so much as asked her a question, her eyes practically rolled out of her head. She got all the paperwork together and then she handed it to me in a way that the pamphlet flopped over (she was holding the bottom corner of the receipt), so it was hard to grab. I have no clue why she immediately was this way, my only thought is that I'm part Asian with an Asian last name so maybe is it just straight up racism? (Edit: I did see quite a few other Asian and Hispanic people complaining about their experiences in previous reviews, but based on all the terrible reviews across the board, I would say they have a fairly equal opportunity hatred for humans). My thought? Put these people out of business and try to do everything you can online. Let the robots replace them. If you buy a PikePass, get it mailed to your house. These folks who are so rude that they have literally driven some of people to tears on here definitely don't deserve paying jobs, it breaks my heart to read other peoples bad experiences here). On top of that they have the gall to turn around and try to sell all this kitschy stuff, which is super unprofessional for the type of business it is and maybe even illegal if it's government? But you know, we see their priorities. Make their niece's or daughters some extra money on candles and jewelry while we take their money for automobile paperwork and you know what? I went here to get my tag renewed. While the woman behind the counter was checking me out another elderly woman, short white hair dressed in black and wearing cheap tacky jewelry came from the back and asked me what my tattoo meant. I told her it was my initials. She then scoffed and rolled her eyes and said ever so slowly "ooookkkaaaaayy". I didn't care until as I got my tag and started walking towards the door and she said "stay out of trouble". Because I have tattoos and she didn't approve? Probably the worst experience I've had. I've never owned a car before so I don't entirely know everything yet. I got my tag renewed, was treated like a POS. Probably the worst woman I've ever met. Got super fed up with me and she was real short tempered for no reason. She also made me pay a ton or fees and I told her multiple times I've never owned a car and I'm clearly underaged. I think it was around 180+ to get my tag renewed... That woman basically ruined my day and made me feel like a complete idiot, lol. read more

5 stars is relative. I still think Oklahoma has a really stupid, costly, cumbersome and unnecessary way of going about the car registration/car tags thing. It's stupid. If you have to go to one of these places, and you will if you move to Oklahoma or somehow got born here and ever hope to drive, then do yourself a favor by going to this location. The folks were friendly, they answered my questions, and they let me take a look at the picture before putting something horrible on my driver's license and would have re-taken the picture if I'd wanted. Also, I wound up going 3 times that one day (my fault, not theirs), and there was only ever a very short line. Or none at all. If it has to be done this way, at least they do it the right way. Bring cash. I think they do checks or something, but I know they don't do debit/credit cards. read more

I came in early spring to try to change my expiring driver's license. I was told I had to make an appointment and NO WALK-INS would be allowed. I also had to wait until the month that my license was expiring. So I had an appointment on November 2nd at 10:00am. I arrived at 9:30. There were people who were walk-ins and they were allowing them to be helped. But my biggest complaint is that I should have been helped before the walk-ins because I did have an appointment. It is common sense to take people with appointments before a walk-in. That is what everyone does. The older lady working needs to retire as she seemed to be the one messing up everything. But the other workers were very rude. I will not go back there. read more

I've been going to this tag agency for last 9 years. They are always friendly when I go in and helpful if I have some questions. No one wants to pay excise tax or spend money for a tag every year and usually puts me in a bad mood but I want to say I go out of my way to go their location. I went to one in Tulsa just a couple of weeks ago with a co worker that needed to renew his driver license and it basically took an hour. Could have went to Indian Springs location and back twice! I had to file for a lost tag/title (never received either) and Deana was amazing! She was so nice and helpful. Her hands were tied because it was after the 60 days (honestly it wasn't a big deal, $25 is affordable) but she said that she was really sorry it all happened to me. Any other tag agency I've been to most of the women are really mean/rude, definitely recommend going to this one. read more

This is probably the nicest tag agency I've ever dealt with. The office is clean and spacious, and everyone there is dressed nicely, courteous and friendly. The counter area looks new and reminds me of being in a bank. Since all tag agencies are backed up with people trying to get Real IDs, I checked a couple places. The people at the tag agency I've used for 30 years are very rude and have an attitude like they think they are doing you a favor. The person at the counter cut me off before I could even ask about renewing my driver's license and impolitely said "We don't work on renewals after 2:30 and we are no longer taking reservations." In contrast, the people at Indian Springs Tag Agency were very helpful and told me that although their reservations are pushed back many months, if I got there early in the middle of the week they would put me on a walk-in list and they could probably work me in between appointments. I went there on a Wednesday morning when they opened at 8:30 and one customer was ahead of me, so I was #2 on the list and I had to wait about an hour. I am so sad to be writing this review but I absolutely think it's necessary based on my experience today. I literally used to LOVE this tag agency. I have been using the same one since I first received my driving permit almost 10 years ago. The same lady worked there for a very long time and I feel horrible for not being able to remember her name. She deserved a positive shoutout. But today, oh today, I received the most ATROCIOUS customer service that I have ever received. There is a new woman working there (or at least out front where she deals with customers) that was the most rude and hateful person I've ever spoken to in a customer service setting. I first spoke to her on the phone before I stopped by and she answered the phone with such condescending and hateful tones that I almost said something right then and there but I let it slide hoping I'd see me other lady when I went in person. Nope. As soon as I went up to the booth, it was painfully obvious that the woman I was speaking with was the one who answered the phone. The look on her face when she acknowledged my presence was enough to know. She just spoke as if I was the most unworthy human being that she'd ever spoken to. I'm sorry I don't have specific details because it wasn't anything she said, it was HOW she said it. The woman with the brunette bob needs to take a lesson in human decency and get some manners. Fake it til you make it. In a customer driven position, you put your personal issues aside and act like you're happy to see them. That's just common sense. I definitely hope that next time I need to go in, she's gotten a bit more skill in place or that she just isn't there. read more
