There are a couple of kid themed learning centers in the conservatory. They're somewhat inconveniently located right in the first and second part of the building which makes for a somewhat congested and loud atmosphere filled with crying and running kids all over the place. The actual conservatory exhibits are something straight out of The Land Before Time. The rainforest, desert and floral exhibits are large, lush and well kept. I was rather impressed and quite surprised at how nice this location is since I'm spoiled in the sense that the botanical gardens I have in my hometown are rather extensive and pretty epic.

We saw a beautiful old building and walked closer to get a good look at it. It turned out to be the History Center, and we decided to check it out. It turned out to be a very interesting local/county history museum. You'll learn about immigration to the area, the most important industries, famous people born in Ft. Wayne, and more! The building previously served as city hall, and the basement is the old jail. A highlight of this museum is certainly walking the jail area to see the conditions those accused of crimes were kept in decades ago. This was a very interesting museum, and it was a wonderful introduction to the area for my family. We were lucky to happen upon it.

Still, it should be noted due to the small size of the theatre itself, there really is no bad seat in the house. Although the seats could be a bit more comfortable, the ticket prices are very affordable. They also do have a small concessions area with a limited selection of sodas and snacks for purchase. My family recently watched a play, Six Degrees of Separation, at this theatre and throughly enjoyed it.

The event coordinator was excellent offering suggestions and options during planning, but then was attentive to so many details as the date drew near. Everything unfolded without a hitch. We opted for a cash bar, pizza and ice cream. Our guests were delighted with the various pizza options all made there. The chef even proved a beautiful and most delectable gluten, dairy, soy, and egg free for two of our guests. We had an area for mothers of infants and toddlers as well as an area to enjoy the warmth of a big beautiful fireplace which our southern guests especially appreciated. Truly everyone seemed to have a wonderful time. We can wholeheartedly recommend PVCC's food, beverage and atmosphere all of which reflect a cordial staff. The seasonal decorations throughout the building added to the festivities!

We were laughing out loud with the audience throughout the play! Here is what the play was about that I took off a website: "Sorry! Wrong Chimney! is a full-length comedy by Jack Sharkey and Leo W. Sears. A young office worker secretly takes an evening job as a department-store Santa to earn extra cash to buy his wife a Christmas gift. She suspects he's having an affair. The "other woman," the notorious Santa burglar, and a confused policeman add up to a rollicking Yuletide farce. Sorry! Wrong Chimney! takes a holiday tradition and turns it upside down in a comedy of errors set 10 days before Christmas. Newlywed David Tuttle has secretly been moonlighting as a department store Santa so that he can buy his wife a fantastic, expensive gift. He tells her he's working late at the office - but she suspects his late nights are an excuse to sneak out to have an affair. She tries to get her psychiatrist neighbour to hypnotize him and reveal his secret. Had a lunch meeting with a client of mine today at the County Club. The hostess was gracious and…read morehonored my reservation and sat us immediately. Once seated the server came and gave us the specials of the day and disappeared. We didn't see her for at least another 20 minutes, and that is no Exaggeration. Once she reappeared, she took our order and the food came pretty quickly. My client ordered the superfood salad which she said was amazing and it was of size that she couldn't eat it all. I chose the less healthy option, Cajun Chicken sandwich which was very good. Seasoned well and hand cut fries which were cooked to perfection. I give the rating of 3 mainly because of the wait. It was lunch hour and most people don't have hours to spend. Sure, some people may have been stopping in after being on the golf course for a bite, but clearly we were on a business lunch considering we were dressed up with papers and such. I would go back just not when I'm taking a client for lunch.

It was the venue itself and the excellent service that was most appreciated. Plenty of room to socially distance and the servers were exceptionally helpful and kind.
