    Tandoori chicken

Ordered takeout from this restaurant and overall the food was good. The chicken tikka masala was very flavorful and had the perfect amount of heat. It didn't taste too tomato-y like some other restaurants make their tikka masala. The chicken pieces were very few, and for the price I expected to get more meat. The tandoori chicken tasted good but it was very dry. The portion was plentiful, however. The garlic naan was kind of hard and dry but still had lots of garlic flavor. Service was fast and they had our order ready within 15 minutes of calling it in.

Silverware/ Serving utensils looked old. The whole setup is old. The food I ordered wasn't appetizing. The vegetable keppra was burnt. The chicken kepora was soggy. The chai tea was only 4 oz! I asked for curry but got tika masala and I said only a little spice and it came out really spicy. They offered me coke to cool down my mouth though. I also got a mango ice cream desert which I couldn't enjoy cause my mouth was still on fire.

India's Oven is not a place I would visit again for a couple of reasons. First, the food was average at best. The portions were small, dishes with sauce were quite runny, and everything was quite overpriced (new prices written in with a pen). The appetizers were all quite small and gone in a couple of bites because of how small they were. My favorite thing we ordered was the paratha. Overall, not a good experience and I'd rather check out another local eatery before returning here.

Excellent, attentive service. Uber fresh food. Would have had better ambiance if the overhead lighting was turned off and all the fancy light fixtures lit.

I WAS a regular customer at India's Oven because I liked their Plain Naan & Tandoori Chicken. I usually ordered 10-12 Plain Naan per order. Yesterday evening, I placed an order through Doordash for 10 Plain Naan. I received Garlic Naan cut in fourths and Plain Naan cut in half. All of the Naan was scorched, like it had been sitting in a hot pan. All but 4 of the Naan had the consistency of a cracker. That means it wasn't fresh. I called India's Oven when they opened today. I spoke to a woman who was pleasant. I told her the problem with my order & my disappointment because this shouldn't happen. She gave the phone to a man who yelled at me like he was a maniac. I caught him in several lies. The more he got caught, the louder he yelled. He then told me I would pay for a full order. I told him I absolutely would not. Then, he said I would pay $15 because Plain Naan is $2.95. I told him that Plain Naan is $2.50. Garlic Naan is $2.95. I went on to tell him I absolutely would not because I didn't create this problem. I told him that he seemed to think I was trying to get free food because I have no money. I said, "Sir, money isn't the problem. I have an abundance of money. You got caught & admitted the order was wrong. You just lost a regular, PAYING customer." He proceeded to yell something about, "Don't call us...Doordash." I disconnected the call. The man yelled at me from the time he was given the phone until I introduced him to Mr Click. His abusive stance was an intimidation tactic that was unsuccessful. People tend to get loud & yell when they're wrong. Men, like him, behave in this manner towards women because it's their normal disposition. I was calm & polite the entire time. I'm confident his attitude would've been like that of a kitten if it was a face-to-face encounter. I can teach him how to behave & behave towards women...for a substantial fee.

The food was bland. Very little used in making the fish but a lot of sauce. Pricy for what you get. Not impressed.

I will dip garlic naan into the sauce all day long!!! Gil Bowl is good for this. Do you see all of the sauce they gave me? I ate my sauce and naan then ordered more naan to go. The lady at the counter told me the garlic naan isn't a true naan. However it was light and flaky and delicious so I don't care what it was. I was able to reheat it the next day and dip some more. I thought about going back to get another order of the naan because I still had sauce left. My chiweenie was excited because I rinsed the chicken and gave him a couple pieces. The only thing I would complain about because there really aren't any real complaints, the music is kinda loud. For a minute while dining in I was there alone. I went after lunch. It would have been nice to have a quiet spot. The food was good and I would definitely go back.

We were seated pretty quickly but it took a while for our orders to be taken. It wasn't really crowded. The guy seated a table behind us had a lot of questions and a big order. They bring the food out as it's ready so we weren't waiting for all of the food to be done. Drinks were served in cans but there was also bottled water on the table. Not sure if this is how it's always done or if there was an issue. Having never had butter chicken before, I didn't have a reference point. It was delicious. The garlic naan is amazing. I ordered some to go. It started my love affair. My husband liked his fried rice but it had eggs in it. He doesn't eat eggs. (Yeah I still love him though). He grew tired of picking it out so he didn't finish it. I don't remember what our daughter got but it's the brown dish in the picture. Overall we had a good time with good food out of our comfort zone. I will be looking for garlic naan and butter chicken everywhere.

It can be lackluster sometimes! For me it's been like 2/3rds of my visits (and I come here a lot) have fine-to-good service and then 1/3rd it's quite slow and inattentive. Some of my good visits have been while they've been busy--so I'm not sure what causes the difference in service outside of obviously who's on staff that day and how they're feeling about being at work lol. But yeah overall service is fine imo after ~35 visits
