You have different floors of climbing space. Even different floors for top roping. There is a cafe. They are currently developing an outdoor climbing area as well. My only gripe is that they don't reset routes too often. I've been told some routes have been up for years. They also have a color coded bouldering system. Both the staff and the people climbing in the gym are super friendly. I will definitely be back!!!

Instructors were outgoing, fun and very friendly. At the entrance you get your special climbing shoes and you're good to go. I would have given it 5 stars but just because it is located that far out from the city centre it is a bit of let down. All in all a great experience and it can be recommended to anyone wishing to visit such a place.

I bought a day pass for 90kr and I rented shoes for a cost of 30kr. We also rented chalk for 10kr (yes it's necessary when your hands are sweaty and you are trying to hold on).. I got an introduction from my friend how to start, but the staff and people there are very helpful and give out tips if you're completely new to the activity. I rented shoes in a size 39 even though I use size 38.. And they were really uncomfortable, but no worries that is how it is suppose to feel. Your toes should be cramped in order to hold on with the feet, but you really have to get used to the feeling.. And the shoes are also tight to avoid slipping. I tried out all the green (beginners) challenges and I had much fun. It really takes shoulder/upper body strength to hold on, so it is also a great workout. There is also a bar where you can buy coffee, soda and snacks. And when you're done with bouldering they have clean and nice showers and toilet facilities as well.. I'm looking forward to next weekend, cause i have to try bouldering again..

Well, that is what happened to me…read morewhen I was watching CBS Sunday morning one day a few years back and the forest tower was highlighted. I wished and I hoped, but the reality is, I thought I'd never go. But, WOO HOO...been there, done that!!! I am truly amazed at the artistic ability of some people to create something so magnificent to where you can truly enjoy art, nature, and a nice comfortable workout all in one place. The forest tower is absolutely amazing! The trail to the tower is beautiful and then on approach to the tower, you may become simply awe-struck. The "climb" is much more of a walk at an incline...anyone can get to the top if they want! Sure, there are no elevators, but you will see small children, strollers, to people in wheelchairs and on crutches alongside anyone else who wants to make their way to the top of the heavenly forest tower. I think it just gets prettier and prettier on the way up. Then once you are at the top and above the treetops...take a deep breath because it's breathtakingly beautiful! Stop being a tourist for just a minute and take in what is around you and below you...it's incredible! Enjoy the sites on the way down as well because you know...everything looks different in the opposite direction. Overall, it doesn't take that long to go up and come down...maybe a few hours total and that includes buying the tickets, pee breaks, and drinks at the end. You may take a little more time if you stop to read about the tower and the information boards. Camp Adventure also offers other things that may interest you like the climbing park with zipline and Glamping. Plus, they have an expansive gift shop that offers a lot of different things. Moreover, there are restaurants and coffee shops on-site as well. There is a large area for sitting and relaxing near the entry/exit area of the tower. Public restrooms are in the gift shop area, but please be advised there are not any restrooms in the tower area once you enter. There is plenty of parking for a small fee as well. As for getting here...ouch! A train/bus/walk combo is available but it seemed to be a pain to me personally when I researched it. You can also take a tour, which you will have to research to see if it fits you...I did and it wasn't for me/us. We rented a car and drove there. Plus, it gave us an opportunity to check out some other sites and/or things along the way. It's easy to find and the roads are nice. Again, there is plenty of parking (for a small fee). Don't forget to enjoy the wildflowers everywhere! In short, if you are looking for something "different" to do...then look no more! I highly recommend a stop if you are in the area!

We wondered if it was all somehow inter-connected. Made it to the climbing tower and luckily there weren't too many people there yet. I like that it's an incline rather than steps like The Vessel in NYC--easier on my hips. Once you get towards the top, hang on to your hats--literally-- because it is very windy up top. It's a bit of a haul out there and wonderful to visit in cool weather. I'm glad we avoided the impending rain, because we had a lovely view and it was cool enough to counter my internal temperature from the long walk/ climb. A unique spot you'll want to check off your bucket list.

[Review #173] During…read moreour family trip, my husband took us to his favorite park, Ängelholms Hembygdsparken. This historical park is an oasis for the whole family, houses a animal farm/zoo with deer, goats, pigs, birds, rabbits, horses, alpacas; inn & stage for summer performances; 5 museums; & a children's playground that includes 2 mini zip lines. Hembygdsparker ("homebuilding parks") are fairly common in Scandinavia, usually showcasing the characteristics of the local village, such as buildings, statues, or other exhibitions, & often with a stage & a museum adjacent to the park. Located just outside the entrance is a train that travels between Hembygdsparken & downtown Ängelholms for a small fee. A huge pond filled with several species of ducks welcome you upon entering. As you travel further, there's an few aviaries & a pen with goats. I watched a kid sneak between the rails & started heading towards the parking lot. Several concerned parents tried to corral the goat back into his pen until a park attendant shushed him back in. She said he's a naughty l'il rascal that enjoys attention; he stays relatively in the area so we don't have to worry about his escape antics. LOL ;-) The playground has the standard swings, slides, & jungle gym, Hembygdsparken's apparatuses are unique in design to me but may be consider typical to the locals. The merry-go-round uses ropes as seats, with its heavy construction, it's difficult to go fast. There are 2 mini zip lines with tires as seats; both kids loved it that they made numerous trips down. I took a couple turns as well... the line is long enough that it's fun but not too difficult to pull back onto the starting block, it's high enough off the ground to gather some speed but not so much that it's scary for the l'il ones. In a small world, H met a couple of girls visiting from Connecticut. It was a comfort for her to find kids that she can speak English to, even as she's learning Swedish from grandma. PARENT WARNING: I saw 3 young adults in their early 20s loitering around; they did not have children with them & would hang around near children without their parents nearby & move on whenever the parents check in. I watched them like a hawk for 30+ minutes as they wandered the park. Suspicious? Yes, but I rather feel safe than sorry. On our way to Pytteskogen, the children's small forest, we encountered horses & alpacas in a pen. I could see H's interest to get closer & pet them, so I watched as she gingerly approach them & showed her hand to engage them. They bowed their heads so she could stroke them... it was an endearing moment. =) Continuing the path, we saw ginormous pigs laying out/relaxing in mud, then came across several deers. I know you're not suppose to feed the animals but the deers kept following my kids, so I gathered the fallen leaves (the same leaves they were munching on inside their pen) to feed them. Finally, we arrived at Pytteskogen. There are natural decorations, utilizing what's available in nature, throughout this area. M liked the "tree fairies" & his sister liked the "rock" band. They played pretend on a boat, acted as soldiers in the fort, & peekaboo in the forest. There's plenty of free parking adjacent to the park. If you're hungry, there's a restaurant near the entrance that serves a buffet brunch & à la carte pizza; or if you're looking for something sweet, there's also an ice shop next door. If you're in the area, I highly recommend an outing at Hembygdsparken.
