This was not only medically unfounded, but also deeply traumatic and unprofessional. Spa services are meant to provide peace and healing--not fear and emotional distress. Diagnosing or making predictions about someone's health, especially in such a serious and personal way, is entirely out of bounds and unethical for any spa professional. She studied my fertility charts on my phone's app and seemed to know right away where to place the needles. After trying to conceive for a year, we were able to get a positive pregnancy test within 3 treatments! I was hesitant to trying herbs and cupping, but both were much less strange than I had initially imagined them being and really think they helped us conceive. I'm an acupuncture believer and have been for a few years, but I had only used it for stress relief and pain treatments prior to these visits. Now I'll make sure to get treated again for the next child! The only reason I took off one star is because the walls between her rooms are rather thin and many of her customers are loud talkers so it was difficult to fully relax during the treatments due to noise. But the end result is still the same- she is great at what she does and was able to get me pregnant, so the noise issue is minor. Just don't expect quite tranquility like you would at a massage spa.
