The nurse who did all the procedures (scratch test etc) was very pleasant and kind as well :) She chatted with me while she had to do the injections to distract me too. By this time, I was very happy with my experience but it got even better when I saw Dr. Jancelewicz. He is very kind and knowledgeable. He explained everything very thoroughly, wrote down notes for me on information sheets about my allergies and answered all of my questions. I cannot stress how much of a pleasure it was going to his office! I highly recommend getting a referral here if you need to see an allergist :)

The secretary was quite inviting. However I did find the office a bit small and sterile but I guess it's a doctor's office. The Doctor was pleasant. He was informative and seemed to ask quite a few questions to see if he could help me and provide more information. What I did not like about the office is that you have to pay for parking because it's technically part of the hospital parking even though it's a separate building. I would recommend or re-visit Dr. Leith in the future.

I wanted to change my family doctor because my current one is too far and inconvenient. Everything seemed fine--until ANOTHER DOCTOR ABRUPTLY WALKED INTO MY CONSULTATION and said she "RECOMMENDED" not switching doctors during pregnancy. But it wasn't a recommendation--it was a CLEAR REFUSAL. She DISMISSED MY REASONS and even claimed my current clinic was "only 20 minutes away," ignoring the fact that I DON'T DRIVE and SHE DOESN'T KNOW MY REALITY. Just because a street has "airport" in the name doesn't mean it's near the airport. The tension became overwhelming for me. I started feeling UNWELL--LIGHTHEADED, FAINTISH, and HYPERVENTILATING. I SAID I DID NOT FEEL WELL, and instead of helping or checking on me, THEY JUST LET ME WALK OUT. I LEFT TO FIND SAFETY WITH MY HUSBAND because I felt extremely overwhelmed and not SUPPORTED THERE. What kind of medical professionals SEE A PREGNANT WOMAN IN DISTRESS and DO NOTHING? THIS PLACE MAY BE ACCEPTING PATIENTS, BUT THEY ARE NOT PREPARED TO CARE. Dear Doctor, Just because you might have a car and everything feels '20 minutes away' to you, doesn't mean that's the reality for everyone. That is not a valid reason to DENY someone attention. My husband went to the clinic beforehand and clearly mentioned our intention to transfer care. They told him that they did not recommend him but that they were open to receiving me. So please don't speak about 'recommendations' when in reality, you were clearly refusing a consultation and dismissing my needs as a pregnant woman.
