I was recommended to Ingenious Auto Solutions for paint repair. I drove 5.5 hours to this shop. The clearcoat on the roof was failing, so I sought to get it resprayed. However, upon retrieval of the car, I found several errors in the work done. There was overspray residue across both doors, quarter panels, and the trunk. There are also deep sanding scratches/scuffs on the pillars and roofline of the car. Upon contacting the shop to repair the damage, he was willing to repair the damage, but was not willing to give full or even partial reimbursement due to the fact it is our "fault you live in Northern California and I'm down here." However, this would not be an issue in the first place if the paintjob was done properly. read more

I initially went to Ingenious Auto Solutions (IAS) to have my headlights restored on my 2003 Ford F-150. I also had them repaint my front grill. The headlights came out fantastic. Looks like, if not better than, brand new. I decided to have some additional work done including having my bumpers repainted due to oxidation, having a new stereo system with Sirius XM installed, a backup camera installed and a complete detail (including the engine) of the truck. I was very pleased with the level of detail they put in to all of the work that they did. If you have faded headlamps, this is the place to go. I called them at 2pm and Mike answered the phone and he told me to bring my truck in at 4pm. Upon arrival Mike met me and spoke with me about the electrical issue I was having. Mike had his brother Willie who is the guru tech check my truck out. My truck stereo along with other components were not working. Willie went to work and diagnosed the issue, and repaired all of it in an hour. The customer service was great, and genuine. Took my wife's Sequoia in to have him check out my aftermarket backup camera because it stopped working and was only showing a blank screen when putting the vehicle in reverse. He advised me that he will be checking the power and the wires to make sure that everything is working fine before he advises me that it could be the camera that is actually not working. So after running some tests to make sure that there is power going through the camera, Mikel checks on the wires and sure enough, he finds a wire that is torn. He advises me that it's only the wiring and not the camera, after he installed his own set of wires to make sure that my camera is working. He said that I only need to replace the wiring for the camera which I gave the ok for him to do. After about an hour or so running the new wires through my vehicle, the camera is good as new and the price was good and to top it off, he saved me money from purchasing a new camera. Best thing of all about this shop is that he charges a fair price and doesn't gouge you and he's honest to boot. He didn't lie about me needing a new camera and he actually took his time in checking to make sure that everything is working before he would advise me that I will need a new camera, unlike the previous shop who I took my vehicle to and advised me that I will need a new camera, after briefly glancing at my system and not bothering to check the power or the wiring. Oh this same shop that was going to charge me a new camera was the same shop that installed my wife's stereo and backup camera. I'm glad I found Mikel's shop. read more

WOW!!!! I am speechless! (figuratively speaking). This place is AMAZING!!!! First of all, let me start of by saying that I don't live in Santa Clarita.
