We were far from home when our car became an experience pice of useless metal. We called AAA and waited for a tow. In that time my mother in law had reached out to some of our family that lived "realativly" close. Since we had to wait like an hour and a half for our tow (it was a Sunday) our family arrived shortly before they did. When figuring out where to get our car towed to that was near by Rebers was recommended by a family member as to where we should send it. Not knowing the area at all we took the recommendation. So a day or so later they informed us that we would need a new engine :( . We were a bit prepared since our car savvy family had looked it over and made the same determination. They had found a new engine for us but also told us the car wasn't worth as much as it would be to buy the specific equipment and have it shipped to Indiana. They also offered to arrange for a junk yard to come look at it. It pains me to even write that!! They were so helpful considering we lived 3hrs away. Today we went up to empty my poor car and transfer the title. They guy who helped us was super nice and wouldn't take any money for his troubles. My husband tried to even just leave cash on the counter and he refused, told us to put it towards our new car because he knew we weren't in the best situation at the moment. I am so glad they were recommended and I would highly recommend them to anyone else!! I know it can be unnerving sometimes dealing with auto repair shops, but they truly made us feel comfortable. They came across as a very trustworthy business.

I can't say exactly how long the mechanic worked on my car because every time the business phone would ring he stopped working on my car to answer it, this happened at least 3 times. While also working on my car he took about 20 minutes to unload a delivery truck of tires, so I would say total actually working on my car was less than an hour and a half. It is illegal, and I will hold them accountable in a court of law. Avoid Monro Tire at all cost or they will overcharge for labor, and possibly parts.

Called Mikes and they could get me in immediately, now I see why. They quoted over $1400 in repairs, so I called around to other local shops and was quoted half that price for the same repairs. When I went to pick up my vehicle they charged $260 just for the diagnosis. Maybe they're the best in town but at their labor prices just to scan a couple of codes I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

The turn around time was great they completed the job in less than 24 hours however my TPMS sensors were not reset...I returned to have them reset only to be told that 1 of the 4 sensors had died and needed to be replaced, I went and purchased a new sensor the same day Fort Wayne Wheel Repair insisted that they put it on in an attempt to preserve the fresh paint on my rims from the cosmetic repairs...they put the sensor on but still failed to reset the TPMS sensors the tech came out and said "we can't do it here are your keys"...I went to another local rim shop and they reset the sensors within 5 mins. Only to find that 2 of my rivets were missing from the same tire that the sensor had to be replaced on I called Fort Wayne Wheel Repair to make them aware and was told that someone will follow up with me on Monday it was Thursday...Monday came and the owner Derrick called as promised but basically told me that there isn't anything that he could do and that I can GLUE some rivets on myself because they are plastic!!!! There is NOTHING plastic on my $2700.00 rims that I had just spent $380 with them to have cosmetic work done...I felt very discarded and was made to feel like I don't know what I have invested my money/interest in. I had to call out to California to have 2 METAL rivets shipped to me and I replaced them myself...I will not trust my car with this company EVER AGAIN due to lack of consideration/professionalism/expertise. Not to mention they still managed to chip paint off the freshly repaired rim and my car was dirty when I picked it up a quick car wash/wipe down would be nice...when someone is spending money to enhance their car its because they care about the way it look so to have a company mishandle it and return it in worse condition than it started in is terrible!

After looking for a long time for a shop JTS fixed the problem and charged me less than they quoted me. How do you beat that? I will now take all my cars there.
