Boodle platter

If you're in search of delicious, authentic Filipino food, look no further! I have guests staying with me, some of whom are Filipino and missing the comforts of home. I discovered Inihaw on Yelp and called on a Sunday at 12:30 PM. I asked if it would be possible to have a boodle fight prepared for 1:30 PM. The owner was incredibly kind and gracious and accommodated my request. My guests were amazed by the presentation and the authentic taste of the food! Everything was fantastic. Do yourself a favor and eat here! You will not be disappointed!

I was so excited when I found this Filipino restaurant! I was greeted with a friendly smile and warm welcome as soon as I opened the door. There were so many foods to choose from and everything looked & tasted so delicious.

Good food with friendly folks serving up fresh, hot food that you can eat at the tables inside or takeout is an easy option too. There's seating for about 30 people inside.

What a gem! We haven't had a Filipino fix in awhile, so we purchased the Boodle flight for take out. This is a Filipino "turn turo" restaurant/ store. Turo turo means "point point". Basically, all dishes are precooked and you choose what you want. For $64.99, you get all the items below, which feeds 4-6 people. There is only 3 of us, so we got a good amount of meals out of it! * Left: chicken teriyaki and lumpia (egg roll) * Middle: Longonisa (pork sausage), beef kare kare (peanut based stew) and BBQ chicken skewers * Right: Pancit (noodles) and butterfly shrimp Wow.. there was so.much.food and everything was so. good. It was definitely a steal! We also picked up some Filipinos snacks and cooking ingredients. Th owner was super friendly over the phone and during pick up. We look forward to coming back!

Combo meal 1 (bottom) Pancit Bihon, kbbq, Lumpia, Combo meal 2 (top): Pancit Bihon, pork adobo, chicken BBQ Skewers

Here are the combo foods I ordered: - Kbbq: resembles a wet bulgogi as there's a lot of sauce - it was decent Bbq skewers (chicks name): one skewer that's a little tough - Lumpia: 6 total, very crispy, I enjoyed them - Adobo pork: lots of sauce, some pieces came with fat which I enjoyed for the flavor but that just gives less meat - Pancit Bihon: comes with chicken and sometimes. It's definitely more on the soggy side which I prefer but I could see many people preferring a more dry type If I had to choose the combo entrees I'd go with the lumpia. I'd probably stray away from the chicken skewer as the taste wasn't amazing and not a great "bang for your buck" considering the other options. The food wasn't killer, but it was overall good. Staff was friendly. For the price, the decently large portion sizes, and food quality it's definitely worth it. You can get a combo meal at ANY time of day (breakfast to dinner) so this isn't just a "lunch special" and it only cost $9! Will be coming back to try some of the other entree items and specialty drinks! Overall: 4.5/5

I have noticed this place before and finally stopped in to try a chicken kabob. It was hot fresh and delicious! Ready in just a couple minutes. Service was super friendly ladies that served me. I will def be back to try the chicken teriyaki next time, everything looks and smells fabulous! Great for a quick lunch or dinner!

I am from Jersey and I'm out here for a job. A year ago in the freehold NJ area I tried Philippino food and I hated it! That says a lot because I love all kinds of food! My favorite is Indian with Peruvian in a very close second! I was driving by and decided I would give it another try and what do you know, i am eating pork adobo with garlic rice two days in a row! I wonder why I didn't like the first time but love it this time?! is this restaurant levels above the first? The food is really delicious and the staff are really cool too!

Combo Meal- chicken adobo, pork menudo and pancit

I was really looking forward to Inihaw since it is only a 40 min drive versus over an hour drive to go to my fave Filipino spot in NJ. Came in to dine with a couple friends. The adobo and menudo were decent. The pancit was bland to me. Shanghai lumpia is good and it was served hot. Halo halo was ok because I prefer mine topped with ube ice cream rather than mango ice cream. Small market to the side of the joint. Picked up some mama sita's packets and tamarind soup base since my local Asian store is out. I'm hoping next time I visit there is lechon kawali available.

Two entrees and rice/noodles for a set price, but when you select your two entrees, if it contains beef or pork, which is the WHOLE menu, they charge you extra. Now what starts out as a combination plate with rice/noodles and two entrees for $11, becomes + $2 for beef and + $3 for pork, and you end up paying $16 with tax. Inflation is a B!tch and everybody is taking advantage of it in their own way. I cook better than these restaurants anyway. We were just trying to patronize to show support. I'll be cooking from home until this lunacy ceases to persist.

We came on a Friday at lunch 11/8/24. My husband and myself ordered food and ate it at the restaurant. I can only speak for the food I ate. Our food was places in a black to go container. I ordered sour soup, rice and Lechon kawali. The food is good. My husband ate all his food. We also had take orders Pork bbq on a stick Beef and chicken empanadas Dried fish Suman sa lihiya and I also requested additional brown sweet sauce. I was so happy ! We went home- unpacked the food I was excited to eat by suman- I opened both brown sweet sauce to find MOLD GROWING ON BOTH CONTAINERS. This is unacceptable. It just killed my vibe. You as restaurant workers who represent the food you make and sell, should know better. This is not good business! I am not to sure if I will return. It may be closer to home , MOLD ON THE FOOD YOU SELL IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! At least in Jersey city , I can look at the food that I am buying. Advise to owner and employees: please look before selling food to customers.

Funny thing is I had just had lunch and was like I'll just pick up some dinner for later. Well, where do I start? The place is sectioned off with the grocery options in front right, restaurant seating to your left and the restaurant section in the back. They have loads of Filipino products that you can really feast your tastebuds on. But let me tell you, once you get the to restaurant section, you will immediately want to sit down and eat. However, I stuck to my plan and got some BBQ pork and chicken skewers and a beef empanada for later. The attendee was very pleasant and enthusiastic about their offerings. I believe they've been there for 4 months now so they are super new! At dinner time, I devoured and only wished I bought more. The empanada was exquisite and super fresh. The beef was ladled with some diced veggies and seasoned to perfect. The BBQ skewers were just superb. The BBQ sauce was tangy and flavorful. Try them out for yourself and you won't be disappointed. Next time I will return ready to try more of their delicious options!
