My husband & I went in to inquire about booking an appointment to get matching tattoo's, after speaking with the young apprentice at the desk, who booked us in for 5:30 on May 10th, 2022. My husband & I were very pleased because all we heard was glowing reviews & we even had a friend refer us to INK ADDICTION, we were even more pleased knowing the artist JODIE (Y or I, not sure how he spells it), who is also the shop OWNER was the one we were booked with to do our tattoo's. On Saturday, we got a call asking if we would be able to come in for 11am on Tuesday, I advised we could not as I was working during the day on Tuesday, the lady assured me that it was ok & said at the end of the call that they would see us at 5:30 on May 10th, 2022. Tattoo day arrives & we get there a roughly 4:45, shop looks quiet, so I suggest we see if they can take us earlier, we go to the door to discover the door is 100% locked, yet shop hours on the door say Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 6pm, thinking maybe they had to step out for a few minutes we let it slide. A young lady gets out of her car & says she also has an appointment for 5pm with the shop owner, it is now shortly after 5pm, we try knocking on the glass as the shop light was on in the back, but got no answer, then another man joins the 3 of us & says he had his appointment for 4pm that day with you guessed it, it's with the shop owner, this man told us that he has had many appointments to get the work done, but that EVERY-TIME the shop owner is a no show & that this had been going on since March of this year. We all paid our deposits in advance, as was required to book the appointments. We all also tried MANY times to call the phone number provided as we waited outside the shop & not one of us got any answer to our many calls. Move forward to today May 12th, 2022, I've tried getting ahold of INK ADDICTION, but NEVER get an answer, as I want our deposit returned, please keep in mind NO ONE from the shop has reached out to us to even so much as say sorry or to try & make things right, at this point what the owner of INK ADDICTION has done to all of us is FRAUD. I do know that if we were to have changed our minds about getting the work done then NO we wouldn't expect our deposit to be refunded, but that is 100% NOT THE CASE & they out right ripped 4 people off of their deposits & NOT AWORD from the shop or the owner. Sadly this looks bad on ALL the artist that work there, which is not fair to them & I wish the best to all the artist working for this scam artist, fraudster that is the owner & I truly hope they all walk away & find good shops to work in as INK ADDICTION is NOT that shop. Closing remarks: you got money to burn INK ADDICTION will take it & laugh in your face for being a fool to the owners game. I sincerely wish ALL the staff under him the best of luck.YOU ALL NEED TO RUN & RUN FAST before your reputation is destroyed because of this man. read more

My friend got a tattoo from the manager of this establishment, after the tattoo the artist was nothing but rude and unprofessional to her. She wanted the rest of her deposit back after their encounter. She didn't want to support a business that's rude to their customers. Even went so far of blocking her when she was messaging about wanting the rest of the money back. She unwraps her tattoo later, and they're infected! Totally so upsetting. Can't believe this is how they treat their own clients. read more

I left this review on the shops Facebook page and they blocked me from posting a reply. Shameful!! Since they want to hide and censor the reviews they receive, I feel a duty to post it elsewhere. I have never been to this shop in person, because I have a friend who got a backpiece from Jody. It is embarrassingly aweful....it is not only horribly shaded/outlined, some of the lettering is backwards!!!!!! It looks like that no regerts commercial!!!! Now she is in the process of trying to get the entire atrocity removed...If this is the best Saskatoon has to offer......Drive further away, I promise it will be worth the extra time and gas!! She has started entering it in the worst tattoo category at conventions...At least she can win some awards and free tattoo removal!! Went for a family tattoo, booked ahead,sent ideas, tried a consultation 2 days prior but he wouldn't discuss design and said he only designs the night before your appointment! Although my family was happy and spent over 1000$ on tattoos and he obviously put thought and detail for my husbands idea's. I left feeling rejected and disappointed!No detail into my design for something that I wanted detailing my life work! I think he felt I was caught up on size but I was looking for detail especially to the tune of 175$. All I got was a large caduceus with my credentials on each side! Steve although a great artist lacks flexibility and ability to work with a client who is getting a permanent ink for life! It's his way or the highway attitude! No openness! If your looking for this in an artist then he is not your man!If your flexible and willing to have his ideas with little of your input printed permanently on your body then you have the man! read more

I got a tattoo from Steve early this summer. It looks great but I was is extreme pain the whole time. It seamed like a 3 year old was coloring with a crayon.
