I have been coming to Dr. Multani since I was in elementary school. Even though I've since moved to Orange County, I still go to him for my check-ups and new frames or contacts. Recently visited this place and although I liked the fact that the doctor took his time and was patient through my eye exam, (I know should be expected) when I was looking at their selection of glasses I was asked about 3 different times what glasses I liked and which ones I was choosing by who I think is the doctors wife. Just made me feel pressured and like I had to choose right there & then. To top it off when I go to pay I'm told they aren't able to give me my written prescription. I was told I will get it when I pick up my glasses. I get the feeling this is their tactic to force you to get your glasses with them. Would not recommend this place. read more

I used to get my glasses at LensCrafters but after going here once I will never go back to LensCrafters. Not only do they have so many cute styles to choose from they are so personable and warm it really feels like your dealing with family. Dr. Multani is the best he always make sure to give me the best care but also considers my budget since I'm a student. I don't usually write reviews but I highly recommend going here!!! read more

Never returning. So first off everything was subpar at first. The younger girls at the front were very nice, older ones a little more sour. So Dr came felt pretty rushed and doesn't explain much like other drs. would. So I received my contact trials and placed my glasses order. Contact was not the right script which is fine it was a trial. They had to order my trial because they didn't have it, and it came in 2 days MAX. received glasses and immediately could see it wasn't right. i tried to explain to the girls and she said i needed to get use to them. 2 weeks out and i still can't see because the script is not right. my contact order was "placed" two weeks ago yet i hadn't heard anything. called and was told the dr has my chart. called again at 2 was told dr is in another room with my chart. i was told they would call back when they were "organized", did not hear a call back. the next day i called and was told my contacts could take up to 4 weeks, totaling the use at 6/7 weeks of my current contacts. at this point i asked for a refund for everything and am going somewhere else. such a disappointment read more

This place is so ridiculous. I strongly don't recommend to my friends and family. I had to buy 2-week contact lenses for 1 year supply. They gave me lenses for 6 months supply and saying you can wear 2-week contact lenses for a month. The manufacturer just makes customers to but more. I would just buy whatever they were supposed to be. I did some research and they're WRONG. They even charged me extra $$ and thankfully I caught them. When I opened the box and tried to wear first lenses. .....they gave me the wrong one for left eye. After all the horrible experiences, I wanted to return all and buy them at costco. They're way cheaper. It's $98 for 24 lenses vs $314 here. I couldn't trust them anymore. However they didn't reimburse because I OPENED the box. First of all, it's their fault giving me the wrong lenses. Second, they did all as they lose trust from customers. They're SO UNPROFESSIONAL. And taking $$ from customers. They didn't sincerely apologize and said whatever they wanted to say. They don't take customer concerns seriously so I'm writing this here. THEY'RE HORRIBLE. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! I decided to try this place because it was close to home. BAD idea!, The Doctor Multani has no personality other than rude. I had my eye exam, bought Prada glasses that were not cheap...go to pick them up and try on. Well I right away noticed they did not have a RX for reading. I was than told it would be another week or two! I work on the computer so it was very important for them to ready for me. Well they ended up charging me a 20% fee for wanting a refund and as the Doctor stated.. not they're mistake and he was "DOING ME A FAVOR"!!! I will never go to this place again. So no glasses and $50 down the drain!! read more

I do not recommend my family or friends to come here. This was my first (and will be my last) experience. Tldr below my review. Dr sutpal was the optometrist to help me out. He was not personable when I tried to get to know him. It seemed like he just wanted to get me in and out quick (I was the only one there at the time so why the rush). After the exam I noticed he lowered my prescription but allowed me to try a trial pair contacts for one whole week. Immediately as I walked out of the office to drive home while wearing the new prescription contacts on I noticed that everything was blurry!! Ahh! I was afraid to even drive and it was broad daylight out! I immediately walked back in to inquire. I was told that I needed to wait 1 week before he would see me again. Greeeat. As the days go on it I noticed that the contacts were drying out my eyes so I knew I needed a different softer lense brand too. Week 2: I tell him about my issues. He becomes extremely short with me and then sends me off with a new trial pair that I have to wear for another week! Fml!! Come to find out these contacts are drying out my eyes too! By the way I did not have this problem with my older brand contacts prior to seeing him. Week THREE: I tell him the trial pair did not improve my dry eyes. Now he seemed really pissed and won't answer any of my questions and begins ignores me! Wtf doc?! So he tells the staff something and they send me off with yet another brand of contacts. Fourth week goes by and I still have the same dry eyes and no more patience left in me.I'm freaking pissed by now and just wanted nothin to do with this place. I've never not once had to come back every week for a whole dang month to get my prescription right and to be treated like that from an optometrist. After much time and energy was wasted I ended up having to go see another doctor. (Who got my prescription spot on,type of contacts spot on, and answered my questions in a personable way...all in ONE DAY) All in all; I had the worst experience of my life here. Tldr: unfriendly, un personable, short tempered doctor who cannot find a solution for you and will make you wait one week (or a month) till YOU figure it out. read more

I've been going to Dr. Multani for a couple years now. His office is clean, his staff is nice, and they are very accommodating. He has been able to see me the same day each time each time I've been there. He is very professional, thorough but quick. He also has a new office in Redlands where you can get seen if they don't have time for you in the San Bernardino office. I know he also does a lot of work for the underprivileged in the area. read more

I went to Dr.Multani through the California Vision Foundation and the staff there was really helpful and nice to myself and my brother. Dr. Multani was courteous and nice to us as well and was able to assess our needs with regard to our vision quickly and effectively. If my new insurance would cover me if I go to see him I would return to his office. Apart from the Dr.Multani being an excellent provider the selection of lenses and frames was excellent as well. read more

Cannot use the glasses I got here. Poor quality. Was not informed that the glasses are not anti-glare until I got there to pick them up. Was told that it would cost me another $200+ to put anti-glare on them!! I wish they had informed me beforehand. I would have taken my business elsewhere with more reasonable prices for better quality. I encountered two workers there. One seemed sweet and helpful. The Dr.was ok nut the service was bad, I received a call that my daughters glasses were ready went to pick them up and they could not find them. They told me they were going to deliver them it has been several weeks and nothing. If I was the doctor I would check on the employees and he would find out why his patients are not coming back. SAVE YOURSELF A TRIP! only reason why they get one star is because i cant choose no stars... this was absolutely the worst eye dr. ever! not only was most of the staff incompetent and not able to answer basic question and even schedule an appoint for the right time but the doctor himself was the most rude and not friend man i have met in that profession. after i paid for my frames and prescription the office manger Esther calls and says they dont except my insurance!?! huh? i already paid u.... the shes say well if you pay an extra $29 we will still get them for you. i call my insurance and they say they have no idea what these people are talking about my insurance is fine and they do except it. so i call back and the amount owed has now changed to !( but i will get the display glasses only. no one can explain why this is. so then Dr. Sutpal get on the phone and trys to explain why ... makes no sense and then doesnt admit that he is wrong and says we will not do business and hands the phone to a lady who is to give a me refund, which she says i can not receive a conformation for. it has been 3 days and the money has yet to be funded back to my account! the only good thing i can say is that there is a young lady named jasmine who was the only nice and helpful person there, hope she finds a new jobs soon! read more

Dr. Multani provides the exact service you should expect from a professional optometrist. My first experience was as simple as walking in with bad vision to walking out seeing clear within half an hour. I've been dealing with bad vision for as long as I can remember and I understand how important it is to find the right optometrist for yourself, especially if you plan to go every year. Over the past 5 years I've been going to places such as Wal-Mart and Costco and always received the same experience of another patient they lost track of, but I can now say that I'm finally comfortable with an optometrist I can "see" every year. I recommend any of Dr. Multani's shops to anyone in need of an optometrist not only because of the professional manner they handle your situations, but also because they actually care. read more

I'm a return customer that was just brushed off by the staff. Brought my sons glasses because he scratched the lenses and when I picked them up the frames were damaged and said that they were brought in like that that maybe our pet maybe chewed them! When we don't even have pets they Just brushed it off like nothing and blamed my son. Never coming back and note to everyone else make sure you take pictures when you dropped them off for repairs as they say there not responsible when I dropped them off perfectly fine just the lenses were scratched!!! read more

My family have been patients of Dr. Multani for a few years. He is by far the best vision care provider I have had in 40 years; professional, knowledgeable, caring. His eye exams are thorough and reasonable in cost. He always goes the extra mile to assure you have an appropriate prescription and fit. His office provides a good variety of eyewear, including designer brands (if you're into that). I have vision benefits through my health plan, but choose to pay out of pocket to see Dr. Multani. WORSE SERVICE EVER!!!! First off. The Doc is VERY RUDE. Doesn't seem like he even try's to understand you vision problem. Just try's to get you in and out fast. With a BAD PRESCRIPTION. Then you go for the follow up. Same thing. You tell him about the vision problem you having. Gives you another prescription. Tells you to go back in a week. And it has been 3 WEEKS and I haven't got anything! I told him from the start I can't see. And it's been 3 WEEKS!!! So they called and told me to wait two more weeks! I got mad because I feel in danger to drive at night. And he calls me back REFUSING SERVICE because I used bad language with his desk lady. So now I have to get a refund. Witch they messed up and charged me TWICE!!!!! And go to another Doc. So it may take two or three more weeks with these BAD contacts he gave me to get another prescription. THANKS DOC!!!
