I told the salesman (Syno) that I was on a budget and what I was looking for. He showed me carpet that was in that budget and on sale (It is beautiful!) I was going to have him come to measure after a short vacation I was going on but when he took my address down and realized that we were practically neighbors he offered to come on his day off and measure for me so that I wouldn't have to wait so long. They were out of sample pieces of the carpet for me to take home and he offered to bring the large store sample to my home one evening if I wanted to see it before it was installed. The installer they sent (Sylvie. I don't think I've spelled it right...) was excellent! He was professional and pleasant to have in my home. He was organized and it was obvious that he knew what he was doing. I would recommend New Image to any of my friends!

Service Master was assigned to the insurance claim & they recommended using World Floor Coverings, to replace the floors. My husband & I went to the showroom for World Floor Coverings & met with Mike the owner & Lauren the interior designer. Mike was fantastic to deal with, Service Master sent him over the measurements of our flooring. Mike asked us questions of what type of flooring we were looking, are usage, lifestyle, etc.. Mike was fantastic at answering all of our questions & making suggestions. Mike then introduced us to Lauren the interior designer. She was great. We had brought in a sample of the old flooring & pictures of our home. Lauren helped us figured out, what type of flooring would be best for our family & look amazing in our home. Lauren was also great at asking us questions & answering all of our questions too. On the day of install, Val installed the flooring. Val does beautiful work. His work was very clean, neat & professional. He did a fantastic job. He's a true professional. My husband & I absolutely love our new floors. We are so happy, with our choice. My initial experience--purchasing kitchen flooring--was fine, which gave me the confidence to return for additional flooring for my living room. That was a mistake. I received a quote for the flooring and asked for a quote on installation. Cody said he'd get back to me but never did. I waited over a month, then called and texted just to get the name of the flooring so I could move forward with my renovation--which has now been delayed for months. I never received any response. No return call. No text. Nothing. This level of disregard for a paying customer is completely unacceptable. It shows a serious lack of professionalism and customer care. Once the sale was made, it became clear that follow-up and service were not a priority. I regret spending my money here and would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere.

After shopping around and getting a few quotes, we realized that the same carpet is going to cost roughly the same amount at any place you go. As for pricing, one place isn't going to be much better than the next, so it comes down to how good the contractor is who does the installation. The carpet is what it is, but how it is installed can make all the difference. We finally decided on BFC because they gave us solid dates for installation and a solid guarantee that we would be satisfied with how the work was done. In the end, we were quite happy with the installation. Our complicated staricase looked fine (that was our biggest concern) and the worker did a nice job of cleaning up after he was done - a two day job. What I can't believe is that this guy did the entire job by himself(!?!?). I wasn't home, so I didn't see how he hauled those giant rolls of carpet up a flight of stairs, and hauled the old stuff down...all by himself! It's been about a month since the installation and so far, it's all holdling together and looks great.

Recently we had chosen Apollo Interior Exteriors to remove carpet and laminate flooring in…read moredesperate need of replacement. The loose lay vinyl plank we chose with Apollo's recommendation gave the entire condo an updated look. One of the partners of the company came to our condo bringing samples to ensure we chose a floor to bring all other existing elements together for a cohesive look. All baseboards were carefully removed and replaced at the new correct height. No ugly transition strips were installed as the new flooring was floated up to the existing ceramic tile for a perfectly smooth transition. They had also floated the concrete base/ floor to the correct height as it should be and all previous high and low spots on the concrete made perfectly level prior to install. We couldn't be happier with the installation as the entire turn around time was about two weeks! The service and installation was truly amazing from start to finish. Thank you everyone at Apollo/AIE Flooring for making this such an easy project.

CAUTION! BEWARE of Summit Custom Hardwood. We had our hardwood stripped and refinished by Summit…read morelast year. The worker rushed through the final day and applied the top coat, we believe, before the last coat of stain was dry. There were streaks all through the hardwood. A short time later, I had Steve (the owner of Summitt) in to check the poor finishing. The streaks are very obvious. He said those would disappear in about a year. We waited and this past spring, we had him in again to point out that the streaks were still there. He asked us to increase the humidity in the house, or wait for late spring or early summer, so that all the gaps would be filled in, then they would come back and fix the problem. We waited until the gaps filled in, then called to set up an appointment. Steve was to call us back. We waited about a month, then called again. We were told to expect a call the following morning. Again, no return call. Waited some more, then tried again. Our calls were never answered and it was obvious the staff had been told not to pick up any calls from our number. I finally called from a different number and sure enough, the call was immediately answered. Once again, I was told Steve would call the next day. That was a around the end of June and to date, no call. I've never been anything but polite and patient with these people. The office/store staff are very nice but the owner is a huge disappointment. It is sad that he does not stand behind his company's work. So much for the guarantee--"ignore and they will go away" appears to be the motto. So, in our opinion, Summit does not deserve your business. There are plenty of other choices. Try a different hardwood company.
