Be careful what room you hire. Ours cost over $300 per night for two adults. And with it we were offered breakfast every day, wonderfully skillfully made breakfast. The room however, in the main house, had a log bunk bed big enough for children, but hardly adults, there is a chair and armoire. There is no spare room for you luggage, the bed is punched up against the wall so you can't walk around it leaving access from only one side. You get to use a public half bath, the the tub/shower are down the hall in someone else's room. To get to the hot tub, deck, or sauna you also need to walk through this other bedroom. The woman of the house is a non-stop conversationalist though very smart and loved by some of the guests. The husband is the chef. The house is in the over-stuffed cabin style and a "bar" room, that is bigger than our bedroom is festooned with lacy panties, bras, men's underwear, eyeglasses(really!) and movie posters. It was over hyped and way over priced for what you get. Ask to see the rooms in person first, maybe they've got better ones in the other buildi

I made this reservation a month in advance. Unfortunately, due to the passing of one of my grandparents, I had to cancel in order to attend to family matters. I provided notice of the cancellation, yet this establishment still charged my credit card. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of compassion and understanding shown during such a difficult time. In my experience, the business demonstrated little sensitivity toward unforeseen life events and customer circumstances. Based on this experience, I would not recommend booking with this establishment. BEWARE!! read more

Fun place! There are not a lot of places to stay in Sitka and this is a charming one. It's outside of town (a lot of stuff is) about 5 miles but there is good and cheap bus service during the week, taxis, they have a car you can rent, and you can hitchhike if it comes to that. Because it's further out you're near the end of the road and a great area for hiking and wildlife watching, which is great. You can walk to some great hiking from the Inn. Hot tubs, which is great with the weather in Sitka. A sauna that we didn't use but is there. Fire pit, which is also nice. The owners are great. I felt like they respected boundaries really well. If you want a story, they have them for you. If you want to do your own thing, that's fine, too. Mike's breakfasts are great and the whole breakfast scene is pretty good, all the guests we met were great, it's that kind of place. Lovely views from the main house. They are really good about diet requests - gluten free and so forth. The treehouse is funky and cool, different kind of place. Fun to stay there. Recommend. read more

Raven's Peek B&B is a very charming place to stay while travelling in Sitka, Alaska. It's located about 5 miles from town and about 2 miles from the ferry terminal. The house is located at the top of a hill and has stunning views of the bay! The hosts, Mike and Marilyn, are very sweet and hospitable. Aside from running the B&B, Mike has a coffee business which he runs from his basement. As a guest, we have a private wing to the house, which includes a private entrance, 2 bedrooms, 1 half bath, one full bathroom, hot tub, sauna, and entertainment room with a large TV. It's as though you're renting your own home. The main bedroom has one queen bed, and the second bedroom has bunk beds. It's only used if your party is more than 2 people and never gets booked for other guests. I must say that Mike is an excellent cook and the aroma of his breakfast makes you feel at ease and ready to start your day. He has a variety of meals for each day you stay, so you're surprised each morning. Coming from Washington, D.C, I'm not used to small towns or B&Bs, but if you're ever in Sitka, this place is worth going to! read more
