My daughter was seeing her weekly for about a year and together they made such great progress. She provided a safe space for my daughter to feel comfortable and confident to talk about and address her struggles. She has since moved out of state so we no longer see her regularly, but she has stayed connected with us and will check in from time to time to provide guidance, advice, and recommendations when needed. She has been such a great resource, not only as a therapist for my daughter, but also to me, as a parent, and has coached me through some of the most difficult situations I've experienced as I was learning how to parent a young teen with mental health struggles. I couldn't be more thankful to her for all she has done and continues to do, which goes well above and beyond her duties. I highly recommend her and her skill set to anyone needing a mental health professional.

I'm only one reviewer, taken from a perspective I'm developing years later, so don't just assume…read morethe worst or take this further when I mean this pragmatically and constructively. I was a regular patient during custody warfare and parental alienation that was stunting my growth and breaking what little health I had to prevent me from more. Usually when i spoke with Trish, I'd play the games in her office, pour out details in tears where she'd tell me there was hope and it wasn't my fault, and so on. The office was a quaint space with old construction and design, and her office wasn't part of the elevated division. I'm leaving two stars because of when I called Trish years later after moving to another city out of heightened confusion and with little routes to turn I couldn't easily reach in an escalated, dangerous, precarious situation that would've made the future problematic. I did my best to communicate I need simpler and more stable, I didn't have room in my circumstances to work for that, and I was in danger by settings I was supposed to see as "normal" and "valuable" that would've diverted me from my health and safety and made me engage in their ideal routines to distract me and make everyone not ask questions. She had replied I didn't want a life of retreating and taking care of myself, I did have resources to rely on, and there was more to life out there I wanted to experienced as long as I pushed myself forward. being paranoid and traumatized even today, I didn't take it personally when she rebuffed where I knew I stood and had to protect myself. But I was left overwhelmed with the dreadful sense of disaster and more of a guarantee I didn't have an out, a plan, or basic professional support because yet again, I can't communicate with someone who isn't there and takes in the circumstances impartially and considering the possible causes and effects like I weigh every day. I don't think she's a bad, incompetent therapist, and I'm not insisting on any retaliation against her and her business. She made the wrong assumptions about me then and told me she's only familiar with certain perspectives and directions without saying it outright. She probably needs to walk herself through that. I'm older, handling responsibilities from legal reports to basic stability, and trying to be impartial about my whole life, so I don't believe in a set reality or talk or think like that. All I'm saying about Trish is she offers great services and has great potential, just not matching everyone. She'll have to understand her limitations and continue as she does or adapt, and patients shouldn't afraid of honesty and dialogue. I at the very least know she's got a sense of honesty about where she doesn't and doesn't know certain directions with different clients. Just, best of luck with making the best of the situation and making your own judgments, because you all deserve that room if you're all putting that in.
