Papley Drilling drilled a water well for me in April 2011 at the site of my new home at Pigeon…read moreLake. I experience a couple of problems within a few months and they were very good about correcting them. On Friday evening of long weekend in July 2012 I discovered a water problem in my basement, the carpet was very wet, the baseboards and drywall was also wet, there was obviously a leak somewhere but I couldn't see where it was coming from. I then called the company that had done all of the plumbing in my home unfortunately they were away for weekend, so I called my contractor to come over and look - he also could not see where the leak was originating from, he suggested; I shut off the pressure system so no further water would come into home and becasue it was a water problem I called a plumbing company out of wetaskiwin, they came out on Saturday morning and determined that the leak was from the elbow of pipe leading from pressure pump - they repaired it. The plumber that installed called me on Tuesday and when I described the probelm he said that pipe was installed by the water well driller - unfortunately I never considered that it could be the water well driller's error. I called the insurance company and they are fine with paying the damage but they will not pay for the "root of the probelm" so I called Papley Drilling regarding my $726.89 bill to have their error corrected, the response I got is you didn't call me so we won't pay, when I argued my case that I saw water and I immediately thought plumbing it was the same response - the final comment that was made to me is "what would you do if you were me" well I wasn't him - I am the customer and he is the company contracted to do this work.
