Then we move to Missouri, he turns 64 and all hell breaks loose. The night he wanted to go to the hospital, we decided to go to Urgent Care in Jeff City because we weren't quite sure about Lake Regional. After a quick exam and an EKG, the doctor on duty strongly suggested we get to the ER at St.Mary's and check my husband in. He ended having a serious issue with his heart (although not a heart attack) and needed care immediately. We met Dr. Sanfelippo in the hospital, after my husband was checked in. From the first second we met him, through the procedure my husband underwent with the good Dr. to the last appt. he had with him a few weeks ago, he has been an amazing gentleman! He is kind, friendly, but not overly so, compassionate and truly a decent, wonderful person. He cares deeply about his patients and it shows. I asked my husband to bring me to him if anything ever happens to my heart. Did I mention that he totally knows what the heck he's talking about? Ps. I recently found out that one of my co-workers sees him as well, and before I knew who she was talking about, she said the SAME things about him. Dr. Sanfelippo is awesome!

He seemed arrogant and…read morelater when my grandma said that she was worried that I had bronchitis, he said well that's not go to a diagnosis yet just then I want to rip his head off. His "evaluation" if you can even call it that was listening to my lungs, and then hearing my heart and that's it he didn't look down my throat. He didn't look in my ears. He basically did nothing and then after I had already told him that I had a cough that had been lingering since last month. He told me get some Zyrtec and cough medicine over-the-counter. like I hadn't tried that already. Then said she doesn't need an x-ray. "Unless you want one" if I don't need one why would you suggest it? Same thing with steroid medication unless you want it. Why would I want medication or treatments that I don't need? He was rude, Arrogant, condescending, conceited, and had ZERO bedside manner. I would never ever recommend him to anyone in fact, I tell them to get as far away from him as possible. The only good experience was Lindsay at the checkout she is so sweet and caring she wanted to know what was wrong and she hopes I feel better.

I went into St. Mary's Urgent Care Clinic because I recently found out I could possibly be pregnant…read moreand I was extremely nauseated and I couldn't get into my OB without knowing for sure it was because I was pregnant. The nurse was quite rude, telling me that I should've gone to my OB instead of here (don't know why I had to explain why my OB wouldn't see me yet) and then proceeded to tell me that they wouldn't draw blood from me. Well, I told the doctor and he was confused so he demands to know why she said that they didn't. Well, the same nurse comes in to do my blood and I tell her it's easier to get blood from my hands than my arm because I have deep veins. Well first hand, she misses with the butterfly needle. I know where my vein is but she wouldn't listen. And then proceeds to use a way bigger needle that is not meant for your hand in my other hand and almost instantly, I demand her to get it out of my hand because she was really hurting me. I feel like she was just doing that to make me leave because she said she wasn't going to try anymore.
