We ended up going with Ava and her boyfriend Yassine, lining up after dinner, around 10:30 on a Friday night. There was a small crowd waiting outside, and it took us about a half hour to get in. The place was fun and busy, and as charming as I remembered. We got seated in a loungey upstairs area and received excellent table service. There was free popcorn and even a complimentary round of welcome drinks, a strong mini cocktail of Gentian and peated whiskey. The menu had changed over completely since my first visit. The cocktail offerings were printed onto thick printed leaves arranged on metal branches, forming a cool little tree centerpiece that replaced a paper menu (there was also a more detailed menu available online). Several of the cocktails were labeled with raindrops, indicating they were available as mocktails--helpful for Yassine, who doesn't drink alcohol. Matt and I shared two rounds, sampling a good chunk of this new menu. Everything was delicious. The Carbone was a bright, interesting cocktail made with beetroot, black garlic, Origin smoked gin, and Dartigalongue Un-Oaked, served with a cube of frozen yogurt that melted lushly into the beet-red drink. The Serre Solaire was smooth and boozy, with black tea, green walnut and milk, Cointreau, and Rémy Martin cognac. The Résilience was a highbrow tropical cocktail, with sorghum, pineapple sage, Pasquet cognac, and Savanna rum. The Permaculture was creative and flavorful, with chestnut, butter, wakame umeshu, and Avallen Calvados. I also tried a sip of Ava's Aquaponie, a light, juicy vodka drink with basil, lemon and sweet clover, St. Germain, and Grey Goose. I love Little Red Door and I'm glad I got to visit a second time and share it with my husband. We do live kind of far away, but I hope a third visit is in the cards.

Before u get too excited, the 2€ beer is a Demi, or a half-pint. But still, not bad - half pints are 2€ all night. Happy hour, which lasts until 9, offers 3.50€ pints of basic blonde beer, and 5€ pints of maredsous, a stronger tasty Belgian beer. The regular 3.50 pints were actually pretty delicious compared to what you would get elsewhere. The ambiance here is super chill! You feel at home. The staff are super friendly. It's important to mention that this place is EXTRA SMALL! Like legit tiny. 2 people can not be standing in the tiny walkway in front of the bar, or else you can't get by. That being said, the small nature of this place really adds to its charm. It's intimate and cozy. And it being a small bar is really a plus when it comes to placing your order at the bar. A minute or so before happy hour ended, I was able to easily place my order without any line or stress or people pushing and score happy hour pricing :) When looking for the bar, don't blink or you will miss it haha. It's really a tiny and narrow space. There is a little bit of table space in the back of the bar with some stools, and there is a downstairs section with tables and chairs too which is also on the small side. Just try to get here early if you wanna snag a table! As for food (cuz we all get a little hungry when drinking), there's a full selection of tapas and sharing plates and such. You can also order burgers or whatever. the only hitch is that you have to go across the street to place your order (it's LITERALLY right across from the place, you walk like 2 meters to get across the street, max) and the server will bring it to you in the bar. Cool, right? So for a group of 5, we went with a big plate of cheese 10€, an entire sausage (huge) 7€, and 2 plates of nachos (4€ each), for a total of 25€ and we were stuffed! The cheese plate was good, but the nachos were very disappointing. They were cold!!! Like not even warm. And basically it was just a slice or 2 of cheese on top of some nacho chips (not even fully melted - refer to pics) and some creamy tomato sauce at the bottom. Nachos are honestly not really hard to make and are hard to screw up so that was a little sad. I hope they improve their nacho game cuz 4€ nachos would be a hit otherwise in a bar. Absolutely the best cocktails that we've had in Paris…read more The decor is great, giving off a midcentury Palm Springs vibe without being too "themed" and the dj they had playing that night was surprisingly on point. While it's a little small, there are a few tables and some bar seating. We were able to snag a table pretty quickly once a couple left. The first drink I ordered was the Lone Palm, which was made from a dill and cucumber infused gin, mixed with thai basil, lime and ginger beer. It was absolutely amazing and much better than I expected. My husband's first drink was the Palm Springs, which was vodka with pineapple cordial, fresh basil and lime. For our second drink, I ordered the Gold Rush and he ordered the Salton Sea, but we ended up swapping our drinks with each other. We came on a Thursday and it was pretty packed, possibly due to people being in town for fashion week. We'll definitely be back!
