I dint receive anything other than an email stating that my contract was coming to an end and to apply for unemployment. I recently was contacted by Morgan from their Norfolk office to come in for an interview. I might add they actively sought me out on a job website I had posted a resume on. Anyway, I agreed to meet with her. She said she had some positions she thought I would be a great fit for, and seemed very enthusiastic about my work experience. Weirdly enough, after the interview, she asked for a copy of my resume and references, and I never heard from her again. I tried following up with her, but was completely ghosted. This company is staffed by some superfriendly, incompetent twenty somethings who don't know what they are doing. I was encouraged to leave my current employer right away but I was professional and gave two weeks notice. The afternoon before I was to start my new job they called and said I would need to take a drug test. That process ended up taking ten days to complete. After that debacle I was told they needed to complete a background check in DC. The company they outsourced it to blamed COVID on the delay because the courts were closed. The background check is done by the police. I waited another month and finally paid for my own report. Two weeks after forwarding it to Tori and Kevin they called me and said the job I was supposed to start July 8 was eliminated. They said they were really sorry. read more

Called me about a job all excited and hot -to-trot. Promising a call from her lead and a follow on interview. No call came and when I called in -8 working days later for an update, was told "it's close to the holiday (Thanksgiving) so a lot of people are in & out". Sure that makes sense. Fast forward to the Thursday after turkey day and we have a third person promise to "get you some answers on this by the end if the day" We are well past that day and people who are job hunting still value their time. Just say "we didn't want you" or " no longer interested". Email and voicemail exist to ease their burden. Poor showing for an employment company. They schedule you for interviews but don't communicate with you that you have a interview making you look back and the company your interviewing not want to hire you. They pay way less for jobs than other temp agencies that have the same job ($3 less a hour). When you call for work they do not return your calls. I've worked many, many employment agencies as a technical consultant. For this to have a national presence, I'm not impressed. While I have been contacted several times by them via different offices, they all seem to "disappear" after much excitement and celebration with "You seem to be a good fit." I worked for them during a brief assignment and I still have yet to actually meet my recruiter in face-to-fact, even though I suspect that she was in the office the day that I completed my on-boarding packet. Please allow me to elaborate about my experience: I received a call from Joe Zelasko, Lead Recruiter on a rainy Wednesday about a job with a reputable company near my home (about 4 minutes away from my home to be exact) . The position was exactly what I had been looking for. Joe matched my skills with the company's job description and it was such an awesome fit. After the phone interview with Joe, plans were for me to interview with his manager, Nicole, the next day, however, plans changed and I ended up meeting with her later that same day. Nicole was just as professional as Joe. She was very warm & inviting and gave me a complete understanding of the company I was planning to interview with. During the interview process Joe contacted me before my interviews and after my interviews (even at 7pm in the evening). He kept me in the know while I was awaiting a response from the hiring company and that was so comforting. Three contracts with this joke of a company. The first ended because they screwed up the service so bad, the client fired the entire company! Then, my "Team" of merry contractors got moved to another contract. Well guess what, Insight screwed the budget on this one, and 20 of us got laid off 2 weeks later. Fast forward 10 years. I, under much consideration, agreed to a 90 day to hire contract. Figured 90 days, how bad can they screw that up? Well, Telling the client that I had completed a background check that I never took, and then not updating me or informing of the clients policies..... When the client made me an offer to hire me on (9 months later), they were not able to because they do not recognize a medical marijuana prescription. YES MEDICAL! Insight Global has placed Several candidates at this client, so they were well aware of this policy, just forgot to tell me. Now they wont pay my PTO, and I was terminated on the spot!!! If I do not get a positive response monday regarding my PTO (only 4 days) then I will be calling a lawyer. Avoid Insight Global at all cost! They will lie, and manipulate the situation, just to get you onsite so they can rake in that easy money. Save yourself, your integrity, and your career. A recruiter named Chris Payne from Insight Global Atlanta reached out via LinkedIn about a contract job he had matching my skillset. I followed up promptly and sent over my resume her his request. And here's where I should've listened to my gut... He asked me for 2 reference right away. Thought that was odd - very early in process for references - but I obliged. He then emailed saying he had a 2nd job that was a great fit & to let him know if he could submit me for it. When I read the new job description - it had ZERO to do with my skillset/background! Literally nothing in common to the point I thought it was a mistake. I declined the 2nd job, but followed up about the 1st job he had reached out with. Guess what? He ghosted me. Oh, but he reached out to my references to see if they wanted the 2nd job I declined and asked them for references right away. Felt like a job bait-and-switch and also like he needed to fulfill a call quota. Looking back - none of it seems legit. Dont waste your time! read more

I contracted with them for over 2 years. Once they sign you up you hardly see them again. When the contract is over, and if they can't make more money on your work, they forget you quickly. They continued taking benefit premiums from money I was due for each weeks pay for three weeks after my last day. Then when I used them, even verifying I was still covered at the time, the providers now want their money. This is 2 1/2 months after the job. Now, Insight Global wants to refund the premiums they deducted. I wonder how many others money they kept? Their benefits package is lousy to begin with. For example their 401k matches a whopping $250 per year! If you get a job with them and you have no issues requiring your to contact them, you'll be fine. Otherwise you are cattle to them. read more

These recruiters and the people who answer the phone are really unprofessional. The company has serious trust issues with their staff. No call goes through unless it's screened and the recruiters don't have individual voicemails. The company has to know everything about everyone that calls..It's almost cult like. If you raise your voice (the slightest) at some of the incompetent people who answer the phone due to their 'don't have a clue' attitude, they take it personal and decide give you the run-a-round (very shady).. It's utterly ridiculous. I would not feel comfortable giving this company my personal information such as social security number, etc. It's some type of 'over the top' hands on, don't trust your own recruiters / account managers type of vibe going on there. They make sure that they don't miss a beat about who is calling, and it seems to have a high turnover so.. not surprising at all.. There are plenty of recruiters out there, and I would recommend using another one..I've also experienced discrimination with some of the recruiters there specific to pay rate quoted to me. It's not a positive experience. If any reputable company wants me to work as a contract employee with them, they best choose another recruiting company to hire me through. I'll respond 'NO' in a heartbeat if they mention Insight Global, and I'll tell the client company why I refuse to work with Insight Global. These people are over the top. read more
