Prior to me purchasing my home, Bill, his son and his daughter came out to complete my inspection. I thought I was getting great service because of the number of inspectors and his son used a drone. Turns out I was wrong . I had to mention items to Bill that were obvious issues (like a defective window and a bedroom door that would not close properly. Fast forward... we closed on the house and then find out caps were still on the master shower drain and the laundry room drain. Bill's son came and removed the caps (had to drill through one of them). Next, the roof over our basement door started leaking and there was a puddle in our basement everytime it rained, and our gararge is next to the basement entrance, so the garage wall had water damage which eventually turned caused mold. Bill's son took responsibility because his dad was out of town and no longer responding to my calls. Bill's son attempted to fix the roof and brought over sheetrock to replace the wall that had mold on it, however the roof continued to leak and the wall was never replaced. They both eventually stop answering and returning my calls. A lot of things were missed due to their oversights. read more

So this has nothing to do with their services they provide but your driver of a truck with your company name as the tag is making a dangerous point to ensure no one passes him on hwy 124. Now you ask why this is being published. I as individual witnessing the behavior of someone driving a vehicle advertising my busy endangering lives of individuals to be the craziest way to get attention for your business. But I assure you you've definitely lost a potential or future customer and yes I'm sure you'll be fine without me as a customer. I wish your business nothing but the best. Though so far we have t had any major issues with our home, I will say that there are a LOT of things that was missed in our inspection. The day we moved into our condo, we had to replace piping under the hallway bathroom sink because it was leaking. What ever kind of braided pipe that was under the sink was rusted out and had a hole in it. First off the braided pipe was not appropriate for under the bathroom sink and the hole should have been obvious to someone inspecting the home. I also have an issue with my kitchen window that wasn't caught, and I am now not able to open the window until I do some repairs. Recently while trying to replace the kitchen faucet, we discovered the the shut off valves to the kitchen sink didn't work. It's obvious that they weren't checked because you can't actually shut off the water in the kitchen. We also noted after move in that the expansion tank on the hot water heater was in need of replacement. Bill was very nice, and did answer the questions we had, but I would not recommend for others. Our issues aren't extreme, but we believe they should have been caught during the inspection. read more

***** In brief words, this is the best professional home inspection company I found in the State of Georgia! ***** Three days ago (8/1/18) while I needed inspection of a house, the first thing came to mind is Bill Hamilton! I had found him through internet search back in 2016, while needed inspection on a house. He did a wonderful job and I thought to myself I wouldn't have to hunt for any other home inspector if I needed the next time. So, while I emailed him this time for checking if he had time to do inspection on the present house I'm trying to purchase, he replied immediately and accommodated my request saying he'd even discount me as a return customer! Sure to my expectations, he has done a tremendously excellent inspection on the property and uploaded the complete report online for me to view and print within few hours! I couldn't believe how Bill and his team prepared this 188 page report that is so very much comprehensive and detailed in less than 9 hours! Amazing!!! read more

THIS GUY IS A SCAMMER! Inspection Wizards provided a fake radon test with high results, they were then hired to mitigate the radon, did incomplete and misleading work and then provided a second fake radon test showing that the radon levels were now safe and low. More Info: Inspection Wizards was hired to conduct a radon test on a property that was under contract for sale. The company owner, Bill Hamilton, claimed to have run the test over a 72 hour period and provided the homeowner with results that were higher than the EPA action level. It was later discovered and confirmed with the lab that Mr. Hamilton forged the lab results and the test serial number was never even sent to the lab. After the radon test was provided by Inspection Wizards, the homeowner contracted with them to perform radon remediation work, including full incapsulation of the crawl space. The contract stated that if the radon test after completion of the vapor barrier installation did not record less than 2.5, the client would not pay for the mitigation installation. Inspection Wizards claimed to have completed the job and provided photos of the work in the crawl space. They also claimed to have conducted a follow-up radon test and provided a lab report with findings below the agreed upon acceptable level of 2.5 (0.5). Immediately after Inspections Wizards collected full payment for $4,000+, it was discovered that Inspection Wizards and Bill Hamilton had only completed approximately 20% of the radon mitigation work and vapor barrier and had purposefully concealed the fact that the job was not complete. Follow-up with the lab verified that both the initial radon test results and the follow-up lab results had been falsified by Mr. Hamilton and his company, Inspection Wizards. read more

DO NOT USE! After Inspection Wizards did their work, they stated in their report there was no mold or mildew in the crawl space. Oh, and we get 14 days to come back at them. Guess what? We didn't close until after that period and then when my husband went down in the crawl space and looked behind a wall, finding mold, mildew, a small pond of water and a HUGE mushroom growing. It will cost us $10,000 to fix the problem now and who knows how much that mildew has permeated the house... read more

Mr. Hamilton is an wonderful inspector and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to buying a new home. He was early, took him time, very detailed and he told us maintenance tips along the way. Plus he offered a very reasonable price. I asked my friends who had used other inspectors if their inspector did some of the things Mr. Hamilton did and I was met no we didn't get that from ours. In one word AWESOME! read more
