Mongolian furniture. Sometimes. If you're lucky. Sideboards and cabinets, all glorious colour and detail.
Heading past on the way to Spotlight, I often spied in the showroom of this furniture store the odd Chinese chair and folding screen. Love them, puts Ikea to shame. But I don't buy furniture. I don't have a house. Until one day when THE sideboard was there. Red and green and gold curlicues handpainted and beautiful to the nth degree. I caved. Channelled my inner haggler (who's usually pretty darn deep) and the salesguy gave me a great deal on a price that was already a third of what you'd pay for the same thing in a swanky shop in Newtown.
I don't go by often, but have never again seen anything quite so nice as mine, but worth keeping an eye on. The general stock seems ok to me, but the odd Mongolian piece at fantastic prices is worth the trip out.
