The shoot itself wasn't great but they were fairly inexpensive so we overlooked Chris being 45 min late & having malfunctioning equipment. When we got our photos, there were issues with almost all of them. Closed eyes, set us up facing the sun, poor editing/didn't photoshop background images as committed. The worst part was that half of the photos taken were lost due to "SD card issues". To put a cherry on the whole experience, when we inquired about the missing photos from the link that was initially provided, Chris ignored our calls & texts. It wasn't until we messaged the company website that we got a response. They mentioned a refund "of some type" but haven't followed through after a few weeks. Buyer beware...your getting what you pay for with this photographer & photography company.

However, not knowing anything about the area or photographers there, I had to do some online research and hope for the best. I emailed a few photographers, and Brian seemed responsive with a good attitude and a good portfolio. When we met him, he was very personable and easy going. He found the perfect place to do our photo session, and set up quickly. He was very good with the kids and caught some fun, spontaneous moments. He was up for shooting all our requests (large group photo and lots of smaller group photos), and he knew how to guide us. Even though we had four young kids under the age of seven, the session was a breeze. The photos were perfect! Everyone was very pleased with them, and we are a picky crew. Brian has a great eye for artistic composition. He is talented and hardworking. I would definitely recommend him.

He is extremely creative and has an amazing talent. All her friends that have seen her proofs are in love with them. I do not know how we weill choose as there were so many good ones. It was 90 some degrees the evening we took the photos and Brian still had a smike on his face as he was lugging stuff all around Kalamazoo. He also was so quick to get us the proofs online to view and edited the ones we chose to have edited within a couple days of taking the pictures. Amazing!!!!! I was always relieved when I saw that he was the photog accompanying me on a story because I knew I could count on great pictures. We were extremely disappointed with this photographer's work for our daughter's wedding. The photos…read moreturned out very amateur, with zero creativity or attention to detail. She took very few family photos, and when she did, she clearly hadn't taken the time to learn who anyone was -- she even included my son from my current marriage in photos with my ex-husband. The editing made things even worse -- the photos lacked polish and looked rushed. She was not personable, never asked the bride and groom what they wanted, and made no effort to understand the family dynamics or capture the moments that were most meaningful to the couple. I would not recommend this photographer to anyone looking for a professional, thoughtful, or organized experience.
