A little over a month ago I had to get an appendectomy. I have been recovering fairly quickly and just got to the point where I feel comfortable working out again - still taking it very slowly, of course. When I reached out to Dr. Dan Luzcka at InstaCare for advice and help on how to best go about working and strengthening my core muscles without getting hurt, he set time aside for me right away! During my session he first took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions, then moved on to show me a variety of different exercises to safely work my way up to a normal workout routine. He did not mind repeating himself and helped me practice the exercises myself first before moving on to the next one. Once the session was over, he immediately uploaded videos of those same exercises to the portal (PtEverywhere, which is incredibly user friendly by the way!) for me to complete on a regular basis. I was advised to reach back out once those are getting too easy and that he will then right away provide a new set of next-level exercises. Dr. Dan and his physical therapy student Travis have been wonderful to work with, they are patient and knowledgeable, and I felt like I was in great hands!
