Now, when I wear this Etiket fragrance , no one, including me, can smell it on me regardless of how much I use or how long it has been since I put it on. To have anyone smell the fragrance on me, I must use a tiny vial of the old fragrance that I carry in my purse. Etiket will not address the situation. Vanessa the owner has been working in spas for over 10 years and decided to now work from home and offer services ranging from laser hair removal, facials, anti aging solutions and what I came in for a simple manicure. I've had manicures before and this by far was the best I've had. My hands were exfoliated with a lavender sugar, and at the end of the manicure my hands were put in plastic bags with warm paraffin wax to further help soften my hands. First time I ever got this done during a manicure and I'm now wondering why this isn't always done? It was a nice touch. Anyways, I can't go back to any regular manicure after this! I booked myself a spring facial in May so I can't wait to see how great this will be. Highly recommended!

I also tried their head to fingertips massage. It was nice, but maybe not something I would do again. It just felt a little slow and not the most relaxing experience. I did really love the grounds. We got lucky that it was a beautiful fall day and we could spend the whole time comfortably outside. We floated around from the hot pools, to the cold plunge, to the Yurt, to their couches by the water. Overall that was truly lovely. The restaurant was an experience. I happened to ask at check-in if we needed a reservation and quickly realized we did. Luckily they were able to fit us in for a late lunch. The restaurant was very busy, so the reservations made more sense. The Nordic menu definitely had some interesting options. The poached pear was probably the prettiest dish I've ever eaten, but it was undercooked, so almost impossible to eat since they didn't give us a knife. Service was very slow and we did not have the opportunity to ask for a knife since our server wasn't around. The Bad: I've never been to a day spa where they didn't give you spa sandals to wear throughout your stay. We were surprised by that. I had to wear my flats all day and my friend had to wear her sneakers. I was also surprised that access to the thermal pools was not included with your treatment purchase. I also wish they provided more amenities in the locker room like most spas do (razors, hair products, eetc). Overall, is this place perfect, no? She is the only person who works there. This salon is by appointment only and you have to wear a mask. Once you walk in she knows you by your name and I always seem to have a great conversation with her. My usual appointment are for eyebrow threading but have gone to her for other services as well. She is meticulous in her work and you leave her salon feeling beautiful. Her prices are unbeatable as well. For the quality of work that she does, I can't praise this lady enough. I had only had a few facials prior to seeing Alina but after one I was converted into someone who…read morewent for one every month. I went upon recommendation of a friend because the Montreal winter was wrecking havoc on my skin. I was so impressed with the experience and the results. I'm so glad I decided to go to Alina. Although it's a bit of a trek out to Verdun from downtown Montreal is was so worth it. Alina is located in a small salon just down the street from the Metro station - its so unassuming you might even miss it. Her prices are so reasonable compared to some of the places in central Montreal. I guess that's one of the benefits of being located in Verdun as opposed to downtown. Alina is fantastic. She takes her time and she is very professional and knowledgable. I didn't know a lot about my skin type prior to visiting Alina but she does such a wonderful job of explaining ones skin type, the products she's using and the process she goes through for the facial. The products she uses are wonderful. After a couple of professional facials with Alina, I decided to purchase some of the products for home use. Alina suggested which products would be good for my skin but she in no way pressured me to purchase them (which is sometimes happen when you go for a facial). The products are so affordable for the quality and I swear by them now (although they are much harder to find now that I'm no longer in the Montreal area). I have now left Montreal and I have not been able to find someone who does facials that I am as happy with as I was with Alina. It's a shame because her facials were so good at such a reasonable price. I can't justify spending what some of the places charge now so I've decided to discontinue my monthly facials which is unfortunate because my skin is not nearly in the same great condition it was when I was going to Alina.
