I have not been a client of Crystal Property Management personally but have watched their dealings with my 20-something daughter over the last year and find it amazing that they are still in business. I'll try to be as brief as possible. If you are considering renting from them, be prepared for run around from the staff on any issues you may have, be prepared to move in to a dirty dwelling (also be prepared to be charged cleaning fees should you leave it a mess), be prepared to be turned out on your ear at the end of your lease unless you commit to another year lease, no month-to-month is allowed apparently. Expect chaos if you are in need of separate keys or codes for laundry, mail, etc. Expect to wait the full 60 days for your deposit to be returned (though they will string you along making you think it will be sooner.) If there is any kind of a loophole they can take advantage of, expect that they will. If they can string you out by talking out of both sides of their mouths, they will. As a landlord myself, I would never put my properties in the hands of these folks. They are not treating people as people, they are moving commodities and the owner is definitely defensive and will not speak to the dishonesty of her staff. Fortunately, my properties are 100% full and have very little turnover. We are kind to our tenants and they are good to us, as it should be.
