The immediate care doctors, nurses, and MAs are very knowledgeable and always give great patient education. If you're lucky I'll be one of the gals taking care of you. You do not need an appointment for the Immediate care, but here are some tips: * Immediate care does not mean ER or URGENT. If you bleeding to death, have chest pains, spiking a fever over 103 or have something life threatening, GO TO THE ER. * The immediate care does not do followup maintenance for things like hypertension, diabetes, or any type of conditions that need to be monitored. But lucky for you, this location has a wonderful family practice/internal med and pediatric primary care doctors. So if you are sick or have conditions we can take care of, stop on by! I promise I am the best throat swabber and I give painless shots! :P

I was out of town and my husband took my daughter here in the middle of the night for croup, she was having some stridor at rest and having fits where she was struggling to breath and needed a steroid. We got charged over $2000 for a simple Covid/flu/rsv swab (all ran on one swab.) This is not the facility charge, not the xray or medication charge. This was ONLY for the swab. The doctor didn't feel strongly about it but said it was a good idea just to make sure, so my husband said ok. This is INSANE. INSANE price gouging. Our insurance covered half. We paid $1000 for a simple swab! It came back (negative) within 30 min so they run it in house. I am completely flabbergasted that these billing practices remain. We called and the indeed verified that the billing codes were correct. In what world can a small facility in Indiana charge over 2000 for a standard respiratory panel???

When I can't get an appointment with my regular - I trust them with my family's care. What I really appreciated was that unlike other "urgent care" facilities that demand immediate payment then attack you afterwards - it was a great experience (I did pay on time).

MUST TRY!!! YOU'LL NEVER WANNA GO BACK TO BIG MEDICAL!!!…read more 24hrs round the clock medical care??? Emergency line direct to DOCTOR! Who does that!????! The piece of mind that will just give you knowing that you can call into a doctor at 2am if needed!!!??! No more stupid trips to the emergency room for 8 hrs because 9/10 times your just being safe... YOU SAVE MONEY!!! Mirinda is AMAZING!! See photo of us! She is very warm and welcoming ALWAYS! Very on TOP OF PRESCRIPTIONS and answering texts back every on weekends! It's like I have my own personal health care team. *****Let's talk about my doctor, DR. DEWITT! Don't be thrown off by how young and cute he looks. LOL! Dr. DeWitt has had other careers before this such as being an entrepreneur and owning multiple businesses in an unrelated field which means he decided to be a doctor as a 3rd career. How incredible one can go through college, residency, put in his time, and then become a doctor! I'm telling you it takes someone very genius to do that!!! BTW, To all the Ladies out there He was a former OB/GYN. He has the sweetest bedside manner. SO LADIES YES! You can speak to him about all your down there problems with ZERO AWKWARDNESS!!! *****NEGATIVE: They just moved in so the building is older and cabinets are ugly..... I know this review sounds too good to be true or from a family friend doing them a favor, however I found this practice online. I just moved here from California in November. Having multiple brain surgeries and an extensive list of medical diagnosis I had to establish care immediately. My life literally depended on it! They were able to see me within a week or two for inital appt. after I join their practice as a patient I'm able to get appts. within a week or next day!!! As for the other 50+ practices is takes 2 months to get first appointment or more in many different fields such as but not limited to; IUHealth, neurologist, vascular neurologist, psychiatrist, psychologist, endocrinologist, physical therapist, vestibular physical therapy, radiologist, Internalists, and many more. I need to have a team of doctors and to be honest I still don't have most of these established eight months later still waiting to get in. Pretty sad.

I discovered this location when I needed an urgent care (they have one attached), and dang is it…read morethe best decision I've ever made. For context, I'm a medical school professor and very comfortable in a medical setting and know what is and is not acceptable behavior. The PA I saw, Maddie, was personable, very informative, and actually listened... I know that should be what you expect at every doctor's office, but with privatization of insurance that's not always what you get. Heck, she listened and cared more than my students who are REQUIRED to to pass (ha!). She was thorough, listened to all concerned addressed them properly and provided all necessary important information including referrals and follow-ups. She was also incredibly smart and knowledgeable about a lot of topics, and you can tell because she doesn't throw a ton of big words at you to seem smart, it was demonstrated in her ability to describe things at a level that people without medical experience could understand. HIGHLY recommend. The medical assistant, Keniesha, who came in to draw blood and run an EKG was polite, knowledgeable and professional while making me feel at ease during understandably uncomfortable tests. Office staff is friendly, polite, helpful, and great at getting you all set up and going. I was taken back on time for my appointment, no unnecessary waiting (although it's totally understandable when it happens) and a very proficient & excellent overall experience

There was a line formed and the clinic did not open until 8:00 a.m. Allyson was at the front door in the cold, allowing patients to sign up for their clinic visit. Allyson called me by phone, as I waited in my warm car, when it was time for my appointment. You are required to wash your hands before coming into the waiting area; and, of course wear a mask which must cover your mouth AND your nose. Conrad was the associate who administered my Covid-19 test. Conrad explained the procedure (he also took my temperature and pulse oximetry measurements) and performed my nasal Covid-19 test. Conrad was professional, reassuring and kind as was Allyson. The pandemic has been horrible but these two associates made this process easy and stress free. I thank them for their hard work and dedication for risking their lives to assist the public.

Without the tests even coming back positive for anything , I was prescribed doxycycline as an antibiotic treatment. About half way through the treatment I was feeling really bad abdominal pain. I called my pcp at this office and she told me "Oh that's completely normal with doxycycline, just finish the course ". I finished the course. And after , My pain symptoms got so bad I ended up in the emergency room several times since. I was diagnosed with doxycycline induced gastritis . (Inflammation of the stomach lining ) . The medication I was prescribed here literally damaged my stomach lining. And my life has been hell ever since. Instead of trying to treat it. The doctor who prescribed it referred me to a GI practice , who didn't have anyone available but a Nurse practitioner. And I ended up paying hundreds of dollars in copays there just to make the issue even worse. This happened back in January and it's April now and I'm still in pain . I can't eat anything besides chicken toast or bread. And this has made my life a living hell. I went in for a visit and got blood work done. And when the results came back I was told " See you In May " . This place is corrupt and they will literally prescribe you medications without a active diagnosis or a confirmation of one. And they will say "Well that's the standard of care. " The doctors here are pharmaceutical sales people. Not doctors who care about you. I'm still going through the gastritis. This is the most miserable thing I have ever been through and could of all been prevented if the doctor would of waited for test results to come back instead of throwing a prescription at me. I'm down almost 100lbs now. I can't eat anything. And I'm in constant pain. They ruined my life !

My husband located this urgent care center that was actually open until 9pm and was near 86th and Michigan Rd. We ran over. He explained what medication he was prescribing and why. He told us where to go to fill the prescription and said that if we were going to go directly to the pharmacy he would wait (past his 9pm closing time) to make sure that the pharmacy didn't need to call him because of the narcotics prescription (Tylenol with codeine). He said they would bill our insurance and on our way we went. He was maybe the best urgent care doc either of us has ever seen. Dr. Khan told us that he used to work at the urgent care in Nora but he left and opened up this place on his own. Looks like he has a second location on W. 10th St. as well. The office was closed on a Sunday night, but they actually took us in to see our daughter who was suffering from body aches, ear aches, coughing etc. The staff was very good, very nice. You could tell he is not a "cookie cutter" or "cookbook doctor" where I feel they don't think analytically but look up a typical cookbook recipe to fix the problems. You can tell the Doctor has extensive experience and his approach is individualized. My daughter who really liked the doctor and was very happy being there. Rare for a child to like doctors office. I am so grateful that they would help us even though they were closed, lights off. Grateful for Physician for his prescribed plan of treatment. Thinking about switching my personal physician to him.
