We needed help fitting a new range in a poorly prepared hole. The previous owner decided to install…read morea drop-in range in 1992 and customize the hole for that unit, creating a space that was far less than the required 30". Expensive oak cabinetry, sadly, counter topped with 1' grouted floor tiles, the exact same tile that is on the floor. Counters mortared to the wall. To say this kitchen was poorly conceived is an understatement. So we needed help. Big time. After seeking help at Yelp, Nestor responded within an hour of my request and he graciously agreed to come take a look. I still don't quite understand how he managed this magic, but he was able to not only make the conversion, preparing the hole to receive the new range, but he also managed to save my cabinetry, including two drawers, while shaving enough off of those cabinets to make room for the range. He also wired the plug and range and mounted the socket so that the range sits flush to the wall. Incredible work ethic. What was the cost for all this magic? $700. For over 6 hours work onsite and more time at home in his shop. He literally saved us thousands of dollars and a boatload of time and stress. Next up are new countertops. I had never even commented or spoken to this individual. They had no reason to comment to me. I have a problem with paper bags getting wet and breaking. I deliver to the elderly and disabled. There is no playing victim in being upset over breaking bags.
