Horrible experience. I arrived early for my doctor appointment, as a new patient. As I checked…read moreand I realize I did not have my new insurance card. So I told him and she could just call Blue Cross and got all that when she processes the claim. She told me I could call myself! So I did and it took me about 10 minutes in the lobby to get that done. My appointment was 8:40 AM and now it was 845 as I walked up to the window to get her mine chance information. She immediately said "now you're late for your appointment we may not be able to see you today". About lost my effing mind. She checked with the doctor in the back and came right back to tell me "provider cannot see you today because you're late. You're going to need to reschedule." I told her, " I will not be rescheduling. I will seek healthcare somewhere else. You provided me about the worst customer service I've ever received. You could have told me that the doctor runs a tight schedule and advised me we could resolve the payment issue after my appointment, to avoid being late." Then left. What a joke for "care". That is part of healthcare isn't it? She couldn't give a shit. If that is how they treat patients up front, I can only imagine the lackadaisical care they provide in the back office. Not to mention if there's an issue with the claims process. Needless to say, I will be finding QUALITY medical care elsewhere! Avoid Prime Care Family Medicine in Neosho like the plague!
