Right off, I just didn't have a good feeling the owner, who was present, would work with us; his attitude seemed off. The main portion of our project included our desire to change the color of our island cabinetry. We were not sure the best way to accomplish this, but assumed it would include a light sanding and professional spray painting. It did not take long to realize we were in big trouble when his sub-contractor severely sanded the cabinetry and then began to paint it by hand. To say it looked awful is an understatement. We ended up contracting with another service that updates cabinets with pre-painted veneer overlays, new doors and hardware. That company was able to give us a professional finish beyond our expectations.
