We ate here late one evening when most other restaurants were closed. We ordered off the a la carte…read moremenu in the brasserie, as it was too late for the restaurant. The food was decent, albeit pricey. (We're from San Francisco - we know pricey) We tried several different small dishes. The fish and duck were fresh and tasty, the pate creamy, the greens were crispy and flavorful. For desert we splurged on crème brulée and tiramisu, which were creamy and delicate. The house wine was quite serviceable and much cheaper than buying by the bottle. Overall, the meal was good.
I found the staff polite and friendly, and we were not rushed. They accommodatingly switched to English as soon as they heard our sad attempt at speaking French.
This is a lively spot just inside the main entrance of Aigues-Mortes, and a nice place for a night-cap. For those visiting during the day there are plenty of umbrellas to get out of the relentless sun.
