You would think they wud ship school pics to the school for free but they charge a high delivery fee!! On top of the package fee.

I took my son (a senior) to his walk in enrollment and made sure he had his photo taken, to make sure it was in the yearbook (produced by a different company). I also paid for the yearbook and received it the next fall at enrollment, only to discover his photo isn't in it. After investigation it was discovered that inter state studio didn't submit their photo of him. When I reached out to the company, they said that they never took his photo, and blamed me for not taking him to have his photo taken. My other son's photo was in the yearbook book. SO OBVIOUSLY I took my senior for his photo. They continued to tell me it was basically my fault and refused to admit their photographer LOST my seniors photo! I spoke to managers of managers and they told me to ask the yearbook company for a refund. Mind you they did nothing wrong the yearbook was great quality. Inter state refused to make any movement towards resolution. They then started ghosting me just to avoid the issue and hope i will go away. On top of that, I dont have a choice in who we use for photos. If I could give a negative review I would. So now I have a senior year book, without my senior in it. :( read more

I strongly dislike this company. This is the year they totally screwed up my child's school pictures. As this is a picture and memorable moment. You should make sure the picture is decent. Especially when your trying to sale them. Last year my daughter had on a denim jacket. As it was not supposed to be worn on pictures. The collar was tucked and rolled in. It's no way you think that's okay. Then again this year she had on a hoodie and it was hanging off the shoulders. Clearly they don't care for the quality and outcome of the pictures. This is the most ridiculous excuse for a photography studio I've ever encountered. I PAID FOR my daughter's pictures well in advance of picture day - online through their website, provided all the information in regard to her grade, teacher's name etc, got her all dolled up for her kindergarten pictures and sent her off to school. A few months later I get an email from some robot about how they were having trouble finding her pictures and could I send in more information and pictures of my child so they could locate it. After weeks of this back and forth nonsense I get: Sorry. Guess we didn't take her picture at all - you can have your money back or drive all the way to Maryland Heights in the middle of the day while you're supposed to be at work and we can take it here. Really?? So, no picture of my child in the yearbook or in the class photo - nothing for my youngest child's KINDERGARTEN pictures. I sent an email telling them how disgusting it is that they're too incompetent to do literally the only thing they're paid to do - take a picture, and I got some snotty response from Vanessa about how they offered a resolution by me taking the day off work and driving 30 miles out of my way to get her picture taken. Yeah, right. I'd rather let JCPenney do it - at least then you actually get what you paid for. For as long as they held my money interest free, I should request a larger reimbursement. These pictures are too expensive and I'm tired of the monopoly. The photos they take aren't even good to be honest. The ones of my second grader were mediocre at best. read more
