Well, pastel is woad, and these guys are using the plant to produce that same blue dye, and then use the colour to make all sorts of stuff in that blue colour. The number of products is amazing: chalk sticks, sealing wax, fabric paints, decorating materials, fashion accessories, clothes, cosmetics and more But the interesting thing is that you can visit the workshops and see how it's done!
