They each have all of your basis items and a few more. Some are bigger and stocked with a larger amount of supplies, others, like this one, are a bit smaller. This being said, this store has everything that you will need to make a great meal, grab a quick lunch, a fast drink, or get that other items such as cold medicine, bandages, or a cork screw that you need on the run. Speaking of drinks... This shop has a surprisingly good selection of wine. This is something to keep in mind if you are going to someone's home and need to bring a gift or simply need to sit back with a friend over a nice glass of wine. Overall, very useful shop!

There was plenty of beer and wine to choose from (inexpensively) and along with meats, and cheeses all the usual items you'd find in most grocery stores here in the States. The produce looked fresh, there was good selection of frozen foods and though the store was busy, the line moved fairly quickly. You bag it yourself here, so it doesn't hurt to carry a bag of your own while visiting, or grab one of their reusables cheaply to bring back to the US with you as a souvenier of your overseas adventure.

They/she had the hardest time getting our loyalty card. She struggled entering our phone #. Then the cashier started helping someone else with a complaint when it was finally our turn to check out. The cashier just could not figure it out, so she started going through her garbage to dig out all the previous receipts. The person behind me got impatient and started complaining. The customer that cut in line started complaining. I almost just left... Price - I did not even look; I just wanted to get OUT of there. Oh, everything we bought did not have prices, so all your labels need to be updated... What a mess! Owner Comment - Not sure what you need to do, but you need to hire better employees. After buying some water and lugging it almost a half mile back to the hotel, I then found this location about a block from the hotel. Oh well. I did not shop here extensively, but we made use of it one morning to pick up a couple of items. They opened at 8 a.m. These are space-limited urban stores, not some 2-acre suburban American mega store. Understand that going in, and set expectations accordingly. I don't mean that in a bad way; they seemed to make decent use of the space they had, and their selection was fine. I was happy to find this chain existed. These seemed pretty common, so there could be one near your hotel or near close Metro stop.

I especially loved the prepared meat in the stall near the entrance (they have many prepared items to choose from--I ended up loving the duck foie gras and duck rillette). Also, people were helpful and willing to deal with my poor French :) As another reviewer mentioned, there aren't many (perhaps any) ready-to-way meals.
