Hanger orthotics provides custom prosthetics as well as helmets for babies to correct head shape…read more We brought our one year old in for an assessment for head shape. They take measurements of the head with a hand tool and then plot it on a electronic graph. They answer all your questions and explain everything. Helmets work best on babies who are 3-10 months old. So they were very honest with us and let us know that at 12 months old our baby might chose to take off the helmet. Since the helmets are custom made they are a couple thousand dollars. So we decided not to take the chance of our baby not wearing the helmet. I really appreciate the thoroughness and honesty of hanger. If you have any concern at all about your baby's head shape I recommend going to Hanger as early as possible. You can worry about a prescription from the doctor later. We made the mistake of trying to get the prescription first and by the time we got one it was too late. These helmets are pricey but they do work.

And then when I was sick with the flu, I miss my first appointment was charged $75. The time I was in there, there was not a single patient there. I've never seen patients there as I drive by. So he obviously charged me that money because he was hurting not because someone else had missed out on an appointment. The only chiropractor I know that charges a missed appointment fee. I would understand if it was a constant problem but the very first time. He charges me $75. He's a scammer go to a real chiropractor. He'll just give you the fabulous five adjustments that aren't gonna do anything for you.
