However, if you get through to staff on the phone or just walk in, the Tewkesbury staff are very helpful, much better than other banks I have been with. They are very friendly but not patronising, as I found when opening my Student Account, and they will look at your finances for you and recommend ways that you can improve them without charging you for consultancy. They also have a lobby which you can access when the bank is closed, so you can withdraw or pay in money through a cashpoint or Deposit Point without having to enter your PIN in on the street with someone looking over your shoulder.
