The guy that cut my hair was very friendly and even gave me some tips on how to style it really quick without using many products. The colouring wasn't really what I had in mind, but I liked it. They used some kind of organic dye, that didn't burn my hair at all and even made it shinier than ever. Definitely recommend using them.

I told the stylist I wanted to go back to a balayage type look that was well blended and would be low maintenance. She did some foils which were ok but she went right to my roots after I asked her not to. She then applied a "gloss" to my hair which made it look like I had box dyed my hair and the ends went a green shade because they were blonde and she put a brown dye over top. I paid $370 to look like I box dyed my hair at home. I rang the salon when I returned home to say that I could now see how dark and green my hair was and I wanted to have it redone. Because Sydney was going into lockdown the owner told me there "was nothing he could do" I explained this was a poor excuse and he should either refund me or book a tentative appointment in the future to have it fixed. After multiple phone calls and emails showing him the photos of what I asked for and what I got, he agreed they would fix my hair for me. He told me to book an appointment online as the date for lockdown to end had been announced. My second appointment was changed time slots two days before the appointment and I was told there would not be time for a blow dry only colour. I had a different girl do my foils and she bleached my hair for 40 minutes. We agreed on a warm tone/ caramel/ honey blonde before she started. The end result was very cool toned. I have platinum blonde stripey streaks on the underside of my hair. As I finished my appointment the salon owner (who I had previously been in contact with) tried to charge me $200 for the colouring session. I told him I would not be paying as it was agreed verbally the salon would fix my hair free of charge. After some back and forth and after checking his emails, he agreed and I wasn't charged. However, he said that in future I needed to complain within 5-7 days. I called immediately after getting home after my first appointment. Once I returned home (with wet hair) I ran my fingers through my hair and had large amounts of hair falling out as my hair has been over bleached and it was breaking off. Keep in mind I did not have a hair cut the second time. I am happy to pay a fairly decent amount of money to have my hair done. However, the prices they charge you here are ridiculous and they butcher your hair.
