They have a cute statue with steps in the middle of it, and it has a boy and girl - I'm not really sure what they're doing but she's being really bitchy. It adds nice greenery to the center of Brooklyn close to where all the cops are and what not. It's technically in the Brooklyn Heights neighbourhood, and definitely add some character to this amazing part of the city.

Honestly it was so difficult to rate it. After delaying for so long with construction it felt like…read moreputting 0 star will be a right decision, all this daily craziness you need to go thought driving from Long Island or Queens to Brooklyn especially when it's rains...Every time it rains it floods badly and highway get paralyzed. No movement what's so ever and it feels like all drivers without exception taking 15-20 min. nap. But giving 5 stars it's seams to be more appropriate. City decided to revise schedule because bridge designs was changed. So instead of starting in 2013 they started in 2015. This happened to be an extremely important project rebuilding bridges, that connect Brooklyn to Kennedy Airport. So let's just suck it up and stop constantly complaining about traffic.

The Worth Monument is the second oldest in New York City. The 1856 George Washington equestrian monument at the southern end of Union Square is older. I love to hang out in Union Square too. I love to visit this area of Manhattan. I'm particularly fond of the historic Commodore Criterion Building in Worth Square. It was renovated and I believe they kept some of the historic features of the building. Its now called the Porcelanosa Building. It's a real classic in Worth Square. My daughter says no one else is going to keep track of the Historic Carolers but me! I often have a seat near the Worth monument to eat my lunch. There's plenty of my favorite food businesses nearby. When I'm done I keep wandering down to the Flatiron Building just to the South. I also enjoy time in Madison Square Park. Truthfully this monument and Worth Square get overlooked with all of the popular sites nearby. This peaceful place hasn't been overlooked by me. I always stop by when I'm in this neighborhood. I suggest you check out Worth Square. It's a nice resting place for us and for General Worth!

In 1879, the house originally had a one-story porch across front 3 walls and a flat roof with a cupola owned by Daniel Van Winkle. He died in 1886 and his heirs subdivided the land. Today, a front rectangular addition covered the octagon shape on both stories by enclosing the porch to add 2nd floor to the porch.
