Amber hits it out of the park every time. I'm very pleased with her skills. If you want a stylist who listens to you and takes her time with you...Amber is the one.

Just left Erin and I love my hair !!!

I have been seeing Erin for 5 years and have followed her from her last salon! She gives a great cut and blonde highlights. I have shoulder length hair with long layers and I am always pleased when I leave Intrigue !

    Bad haircut at Intrigue Salon

Had my hair cut at this location and had to immediately depart for Europe to see after my mother who had been hospitalized. When I returned to the US 12 weeks later, I was having my hair styled and the quality of the Intrigue Salon cut was brought to my attention, specifically the back of my head. My hair was straightened so that I could see what was meant. To my dismay my hair was so badly cut, it was glaring and obviously visible. I called the Intrigue Salon and spoke with the manager, sent over pics of the botched hair cut . They offered no remedy at all and merely stated that because it was past their one week reclamation policy, they could do nothing. Customer service is extremely poor. Pics of the horrendous haircut I received are included in this post.

Avoid this salon at all cost!! I had my hair done by Kyle & Angela. I had known Kyle from previously doing my hair and she recently started working at Intrigue as Angela'a assistant so I thought I could trust her recommendation. Boy was I wrong. Obviously, blonde is a process, but I was told that I would reach a darker blonde tone (as circled in the picture). When I left, my hair was barely any different... after SIX hours and $350!!! Angela promised me my hair would fade and it did... to green. My hair was extremely damaged and an ugly color. I asked to come in and have it fixed. She applied a toner and a deep conditioner for free. The toner just made my hair darker. I then asked both Kyle and Angela for a partial refund in which I waited days to hear back. So I called the salon. A month later they finally found time for me to come in, in which they told me my hair looked just like the picture?!?!Angela told me she never promised me a blonde shade and that my hair turned out lighter than expected. Funny because the day I got it done when she tried to take pictures she kept saying you just can't see the color because the lighting is bad. It will lighten up. Salons have very bright lights; there was no reason I shouldn't have been able to see the blonde. The owner eventually offered me a $45 credit but I will NOT be going back. I've been a customer for 5 years and have been displeased the past few times I've visited with multiple stylist. Also, Kyle unfollowed me on social media and never responded to my refund inquiry. This is extremely childish and unprofessional.

    I love Kelly's work! She's amazing.

I live in Denver & fly back just to have Kelly do my hair (no joke.) She's been my stylist for the last few years and the only person I trust with my hair. Any time I need a pick-me-up or huge change, she's my go to. She makes sure you're comfortable in her chair & she's very educated in what she does.

To be fair, I made a mistake and thought my appointment was at 9:30 when it was actually at 9:00. When Cheron called me at 9:10 I immediately apologized and even offered twice to reschedule if that was easier. Instead she just asked for my ETA in an irritated tone and said she'd see me soon. From the minute I got there the whole appointment felt tense. I asked for a simple trim, some face framing pieces, and something low maintenance since I don't spend a lot of time styling my hair. It didn't feel like a difficult request but I felt like my preferences were an inconvenience. Even the shampoo was so rough it was uncomfortable instead of relaxing. The haircut itself turned out nice but what really shocked me was the finish. I paid $150 and expected at least a basic styling. Instead, my hair was blow dried with her fingers... no round brush, no comb, no straightener, no curls. Nothing. I genuinely couldn't believe that was the finished result. I'm happy I ended up with a decent haircut but the overall experience felt uncomfortable from start to finish and nowhere near the level of service I expected.

My mom has been going to the salon for over 4 years and she sees McKenna everytime. We are always satisfied with how our nails look when we leave the salon. Based on that, I expected a premium service and a company willing to stand behind its work. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. I invested approximately $1,400 in Great Lengths hair extensions and services & products for my only son's wedding in Alaska. The salon knew this was a once-in-a-lifetime event and that I would be leaving shortly after my appointments. My initial installation by Gabriellia was unsuccessful, so I was scheduled with their Global Elite Stylist, Traci, for my first corrective reinstall. The salon repeatedly emphasized that Traci had over 40 years of experience. During that appointment, Traci removed my extensions using Great Lengths bond remover and then installed approximately three new packs of extensions without first washing or clarifying my hair. Before I left, she instructed me not to wash my hair for 48 hours, leaving the bond remover on my hair, scalp, and newly installed extensions. I left believing everything had been corrected. I even emailed the salon thanking them for resolving the first installation issues and complimented Traci on what I believed was a job well done. Little did I know that by the following morning my extensions would begin failing. Within 48 hours, I had virtually no extensions remaining on one side of my head and developed contact dermatitis after the bond remover remained on my scalp. I immediately contacted the salon and explained that I had followed every instruction, including not washing my hair and using my boar bristle brush. The salon scheduled me with Pierce for a second corrective reinstall. I again expressed my concern that the bond remover had never been washed or clarified before new extensions were installed. Instead, I was told that wasn't the cause and was asked what shampoo I used. I explained my hair had never been washed since Traci's appointment, so shampoo could not have caused the immediate failure. During that visit, the manager called Traci at home to ask what products she recommended, and based on that conversation I purchased the Caviar shampoo and conditioner they instructed me to use. Pierce replaced only the bundle that had completely fallen out. The extensions continued falling out. While traveling to Alaska, a flight attendant handed me two extensions that had fallen onto the airplane floor. By the time I landed, about ten more had slipped out. By my son's wedding, I had no extensions remaining on one side of my head, and they continued falling out throughout the wedding. By the time I returned home, fewer than ten extensions remained. The most heartbreaking part is that these memories cannot be recreated. I will forever have photographs from my only son's wedding showing my hair falling apart during one of the most important days of my life. After returning home, I continued emailing the salon and sent photographs showing well over 100 extensions had fallen out. When I requested a refund, I was told the only solution was another reinstall. I repeatedly asked what would be done differently but never received an answer. Instead, I was expected to trust the same Global Elite Stylist again. I also repeatedly requested a complete itemized accounting of the charges made to my gift cards. Despite multiple requests, I never received a complete accounting and was eventually told the salon would no longer respond to emails asking the same questions. Wanting answers, I contacted Great Lengths USA directly and recorded the conversation. I explained exactly how my first corrective reinstall had been performed. Based on the information I provided, I was told that leaving Great Lengths bond remover in the hair without washing and clarifying it before reinstalling new extensions is what caused my extensions to fail. I was also told the hair must be "squeaky clean" before new extensions are installed so the keratin bonds can properly adhere. Great Lengths extensions are advertised to last up to five months. Mine lasted approximately 10 days. Timeline * April 24 - Consultation with Gabriellia * May 8 - Initial installation * May 14 - First corrective reinstall with Traci * May 18 - Second corrective reinstall with Pierce * May 20 - Left for Alaska * June 6 - Fewer than 10 extensions remained This review reflects my personal experience and is supported by emails, photographs, receipts, and a recorded conversation with Great Lengths USA. Upon request.
