Every question he asked my husband, my husband had to get the answer from me. Third, although I was on an extreme time crunch, they barely tried to get ahold of the other lawyer. My wife and I got rear ended, and I sustained the most injury due to a prior injury years ago. I had to put off my recommended surgery due to my responsibilities to my father who was very sick, and after my father passed my wife needed the same care, because she was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer shortly after he passed. They both needed care 24/7 and I did not want to put anyone in a home. I left my job to care for my family, because it was the right thing to do, and they were ok with that. Everyone was on the same page, and I have no regrets, and would do it again. When my wife passed in October of last year, this broke me. I called Bill Beckert to advise and told him that I was going to finally schedule my surgery now that I had nothing holding me back anymore, and after saying those same old cliches " I am so sorry" " Your in my thoughts" etc. advised me on what to do, and I started to do what he advised. Then I questioned him on something that happened with my wife, and he didn't like it, because I called him out for his negligence, and he made every excuse in the book on why what happened, however I gave him a pass, because my wife just passed, and I had my hands full as it is. What does he do not even a week later, he sends me a certified letter saying he is withdrawing from the case, and said he would forward all my paperwork to the attorney that I hire moving forward. All because I called him out for his negligence in reference to an offer made to my wife by the insurance company. He knew I just lost my wife, and this is what you do. The letter I sent them in return was not nice, and I have no regrets. How do you do this to someone who just lost his wife, is grieving and now needs help. This should raise a RED flag to everyone. Here's what happened that triggered this. My wife received a call from the Insurance company, and they made her an offer to settle her claim She didn't feel comfortable talking to them so she called me, and I then called Bill to advise and for his guidance. He said he needed paperwork, and we forwarded him the paperwork, and then he calls her at work. She got confused and frustrated so she just dropped everything and we lost the offer made to her. If Bill just made a simple phone call they could have discussed the offer and came to terms. All I did was question him on this, and he didn't like it. What he did by sending me that certified letter it just speaks volumes, about him and this firm. You would think they would just do the right thing knowing they screwed up, and were given a pass. Don't make the same mistake I made. Go with someone who actually cares about you, and your interests. What Bill did was to cover his ass, because he knows he messed up.

However, due to complications from cataract surgeries performed by a W.H. ophthalmologist, I was no longer able to work in my profession. I could no longer read nor work at a computer for longer than 15 minutes at one time. After my 2nd surgery, I could not even read the Big E on the eye chart! I required emergency surgery the next day with a different eye surgeon, at a different facility. I called the law firm of RisCassi & Davis in Dec. 2023, hearing about them from their t.v. & radio commercials promising their full faith effort to achieve justice for their clients. I was assigned to Attorney Iannaconne. He told me these types of cases are difficult but he thought he could help me. I was told we'd need to work quickly because the statute of limitations was approaching. The plan was for him to speak with my current eye doctor & get back to me. Two weeks later I had not heard back from Atty. Iannaconne. I called him and learned that he hadn't yet spoken with my eye doctor but was going to call her the following week & get back to me with his thoughts on my case. Two more weeks went by & no call from Atty. Iannaconne. I called his office and left a message on his VM. No return call. A week later I called again & spoke with his assistant who stated she would sent him an email and have him get back to me later that Friday. No return call. The following week I spoke with his assistant who stated he was in a meeting but she was going to transfer my call. She must have forgotten to put me on hold because I could hear him yell from another room, "Get her phone number & tell her I'll call her back." I didn't hear back from Attorney Iannaccone that day, the following week, or ever again. I realized at this point that he had no intention of calling me back. What is most upsetting to me about his actions was that if he did not want to take on my case, he could have just told me so from the beginning or any point along the way. Then I would have been able to seek out the assistance of someone else who might be willing and able to help me. Instead, he chose not to help me and to cause me not to be able to receive help from anyone else because he had run out the clock with respect to the statute of limitations. I have to wonder if someone in the RisCassi & Davis law firm wasn't protecting this ophthalmolo- gist, at my expense. My advice to anyone who is reading this review would be, if you are an elderly female or a medical provider who has been injured or wronged by a medical professional, find another law firm - one where you will be treated with empathy, courtesy, and respect at a minimum.
