I couldn't wait to see my heroes Voltaire and Rousseau's final resting place as well as Victor Hugo and Marie Curie. We took a lengthy walk around the Sorbonne neighborhood..........absolutely beautiful! The entry fee for the Pantheon was 13.00 I think. Well worth the visit. The first floor is devoted to epic artwork and amazing statues. Descend into the catacombs to visit the internment of France's most influential thinkers and revolutionary heroes. Honestly, it was a pretty emotional experience for me. This was a 10 star event that should not be missed on any trip to Paris. I could do this 100 times and love every minute.

It's been a good way for me to connect with others as well as take part in adult education. Many students have told me they really like the French-English conversation classes and I hope to start those soon. WICE seems to work on a semester school basis, so there is a fall schedule beginning in September and another in the beginning of the year. They also has art classes such as drawing, photography, cooking classes, and writing courses. Language classes for French, English, Spanish, and German.

Wow, what a library!…read more Dang man, this library is the library of all libraries lol It puts any library in the United States to shame lol I mean its massive and the architecture! It's wonderful. Who would have thought that this was just a library? I honestly thought it was some a government building when I first saw it. But nope lol I was dead wrong. Even the public library is amazing. I believe it is free to come in here and read and or study. Honestly, it is just a nice place to relax. Come on Unites States- do better lol We are looking weak here lol Our public libraries are a joke compared to this.
