My husband and I have been craving ramen, so we decided to try this place for the first time. The restaurant itself is very cute and cozy, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The service was okay but a bit slow. We ordered chicken ramen, spam musubi, yakisoba, a soda, and the Pinnacle lemonade. The lemonade was extremely sweet and honestly tasted like old, rotten pineapple. I sent it back and let the waitress know I just didn't like it and wouldn't be drinking it. An owner came over to ask about the lemonade. When we explained that it was just too sweet for us and tasted off, he repeatedly insisted that it's "very popular" and that "everybody loves it." He then told us it didn't taste rotten and implied we were wrong. The interaction felt dismissive and rude rather than helpful. As for the food: * The ramen was very bland and lacked flavor. * The yakisoba was extremely salty. We actually ended up mixing the yakisoba into the ramen to give it some flavor, and it was better that way. * The spam musubi tasted good, but unfortunately we found hair in it after we had already eaten most of it. My husband also ordered the tempura sampler, which according to the menu includes shrimp, popcorn chicken, calamari, onion, and potato. However, it also came with fried jalapeños, which were not listed on the menu. My husband bit into one unexpectedly, which wasn't pleasant since we weren't told they were included. After we left, neither of us felt well. We both became nauseous and had stomach pain shortly after eating. While we can't say for certain what caused it, it honestly felt like possible food poisoning, which made the whole experience even worse. Overall, while the restaurant has a cute atmosphere, the food quality, cleanliness concerns, and the way the owner handled feedback left a bad impression. We really wanted to like this place, but based on this experience, we wouldn't return or recommending.

Sadly, I was trying to support a local Business, since I work at a school nearby. 1. It took over an hour to deliver my food, thankfully my uber eats currier was patient. 2. They did not include chopsticks, wasabi/ginger and only 2 napkins. 3. I ordered two rolls and edamame. The sushi was fishy, soggy seaweed, my so called "crispy" onion (was soggy) albacore roll. Sadly I will never order from there again. Uber eats had it as a 4.5, not sure what Yelp has it as... but it doesn't deserve more than a 1-2.

I'm a first-time visitor to this place. I had to drive from San Diego to LA for an appointment, and the second stop was this gem. I highly recommend it! Everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors and quality of the food were spot-on. And the owners are so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back! Good atmosphere and manages to set itself apart from surrounding restaurants. Staff seem to enjoy working here and are patient and helpful with first timers and very knowledgeable of the menu and spot on with recommendations. Food looks and smells amazing. This restaurant definitely has what it takes to be a staple of the community.

Well the service is good and the food is great but some menu prices aren't direct. It's unclear what the final price will be. The ambience is alright for people that like ramen.

Terrible food terrible service take your money elsewhere. This is trash! place should be closed. Owner is rude and gets offended & physical when you give your honest opinion on the trash food served. The lemonade is nasty and made with nasty water you can taste on the first sip. Never again!!!! Complete waste of money and time. Came here cause all the best ramen spots are far and saw that this place was some what close to me but what a damn mistake I did. I wasted time and money on this place that lacks hella flavor and experience. "Owner" talked very rude once given an opinion about the sushi and second the drinks made in house taste really off. I don't recommend coming here if you want ramen or sushi very simple And not flavorful. Very misleading place. I tried their Tonkatsu Ramen and it was pretty mediocre. I'm not sure what I was expecting but it came with a side of Katsu and cabbage salad which was good but the ramen itself was kinda bland. The noodles were cooked way too long and were too soft, almost like if you keep instant ramen noodles sitting for too long. The broth was not rich and more like soupy. They had an interesting teriyaki chicken roll...I've never ever seen that before. The price was more than expected for a small restaurant like this, I was kinda surprised. I think they had a set that came with california rolls and the teriyaki chicken roll for $14-16! The ramen was around $18-19 and I've had cheaper ramen in LB that's way better quality. I would give it 1.5 star but the service was good and it may just not be my cup of tea. read more

Honestly I'm so glad this ramen opened a few blocks from our house! If I'm wanting ramen I don't have to go to Alhambra anymore. Overall I loved their ramen! Very well seasoned and so taste so good. I got their spicy ramen and comes with pieces of pork belly. They have a combo option, one bowl of ramen with either your choice of dumplings or california rolls. And it's a pretty huge bowl too. I definitely recommended this place. Only thing I noticed is that they don't have AC, both times I've gone they have portable fans and the door opened. (I came during summer time) Other than that it is a great local ramen stop and the service has been great so far. read more

Absolutely delicious. From the fatty pork belly to the rich spicy broth this did not disappoint. The portion was quite filling as they give plenty of broth. The noodles had a good bite and weren't soggy which is always a plus. I wish the egg was a little more jammy but it was still good. read more

Terrible service! I order for pick at 1:40 pm and was told my order will be ready in 30 minutes. Called 30 minutes later to make sure my order is ready before I pick up and confirmed my order was ready only to get there and wait another 30 minutes. Owner was rude screaming and yelling I shouldn't be upset coz things happened! totally unacceptable specially there's only 1 help and the in the kitchen and 1 server. The experience was a little confusing because my mom was ordering in front of the cash register and the cash register was pretty far and so my mom had a hard time double speaking up to the girl. She was very nice and patient at the time. I only didnt like that every time that I wanted to order I had to stand up and that was too much of a hassle but other wise the food and place was great overall. 9/10 read more

While the price of a bowl is somewhat reasonable and the food does come out quickly, the service overall was great but could use a slight improvement. Throughout my meal I could hear multiple patrons flag down a server to refill their water. Remember, you're serving dishes that contain spices and some people's heat and spice tolerances are different from others so it's no suprise they're going to consume large amounts of water to cool down. It would be more convenient if the servers walked around with a water pitcher (ice cold preferably instead of lukewarm water) and check if any of the patrons needed refills. This would be an exemplary service that any restaurant should follow. Now the bowl itself that they serve the ramen in can be deceiving. While the bowls look large from above and the broth looks abundant, the base of the bowl is actually very narrow and therefore the serving size is significantly smaller than your normal serving at another ramen establishment. They intentionally do this to serve less broth. The fact that they use a large mouth bowl with a narrow base to "stretch out" their broth is a huge red flag and is definitely not worth the price. Now you may read this and say, "You're paying for the noodles, not the soup!" If you truly know ramen and the art behind it, the noodles isn't what makes the dish; it's the broth. The broth is the foundation and adds depth to the entire dish whether it's from the stock, the seasoning, or the oils, each component is what truly makes up ramen, not just the noodles. It's clear the design of the bowl is flawed and what's even more obvious is they serve just enough broth that measure right below their establishment's name on the bowl. I understand they do this for aesthetics but in the culinary world, if you're going to sacrifice quantity for art, save that for fine dining, not a noodle shop.

The only downside is that the place is pretty small, so getting a table was a bit difficult and there was a wait. Once we ordered, it took about an hour for the food to come out. It was worth it, but definitely something to keep in mind if you're in a hurry. I also ordered the strawberry lemonade, which was a little too sweet for my taste. Stopped by to pick up some dinner and was so disappointed when I got home. The bento box had the driest chicken was not edible the tempura was cold and stale. Also ordered some sushi that tasted like old finish it looked discolored. Service was ok so I tipped but the food was bad spent way to much for food I had to end up throwing away, feel horrible that I had to do that but the was note edible. We got the crispy tuna rice, a few different rolls, and I got the tonkatsu ramen. Not only is the food delicious but the staff is incredible as well. First time having Ramen and I have to say I am not disappointed. I truly recommend this place. The ramen special came with an option of California rolls(8pcs) or pot sticker/ dumplings(6pcs). Hot spicy pork belly hit the spot It was perfect loved it! read more
