I called and asked if Pinpoint took walk-ins as I was a mile away from the location and felt like…read moregetting an impulse piercing, and luckily for me, they said yes! The process was very quick, with absolutely no frills. I've been to fancier piercing studios in the past and the bedside manner there was much different than here. I felt rushed even though the studio was empty save for a girl getting tattooed in the front room. My piercer did not have a very welcoming presence, but that said, my piercing has healed nicely, is straight, and looks good. It was also well priced, with jewelry included. Their jewelry options are incredibly limited, so beware this is not a studio where you will have fine jewelry options to choose from, they didn't even have a hoop option for a nostril piercing, only tiny studs of one size in a few different colors. That surprised/disappointed me. I would come back for piercings but go elsewhere for jewelry for sure. Overall I'm pleased with my experience. Edited to add: their saline spray is insanely priced at $15/bottle, do yourself a favor and buy your saline spray elsewhere, I got mine for $4 from Target.

Ok got my first tattoo. I've been thinking about one for years and just was afraid of the pain. It…read morestung but not too bad. Staff was friendly. Very laid back atmosphere. Didn't care for the music playing ( I'm not a fan of rap ). Bobby did a great job and I felt comfortable. I saw how everything was cleaned including the equipment and the area around where the tattooing was to be done. He cleaned and prepped my arm and applied the stencil. He started with a small spot to see how I would do with the pain. It was fine. It is a smallish tattoo and only took a short time. I'm already deciding if I want any words around it once it heals completely. For my first tattoo I think with was a good spot to go to. My cousin recommended them and she went with me and got another tattoo herself.

I lived having Sydney help me with my recent piercings. I came in hoping for a conch and nostril…read morepiercing, but after examining my anatomy, Syd discussed options other than the conch, because she was concerned it wouldn't heal properly with my ear shape. She let me know my other options, and without pressuring me to get any ear piercings, helped me choose an upper cartilage. This was $10 cheaper than my original conch hopes, and i am so thankful she helped me choose a piece that would heal well, rather than getting an extra $10! I will absolutely be back to finish decorating my ears!

I got a small tattoo on my lower leg about 23 years ago and have been wanting to get it touched up…read morefor a long time but have always been kind of nervous about it. My past experience and knowledge about tattoo shops is that they can be very intimidating. That was NOT my experience today!! I first met the guys from Sacred Apple about 20 years ago when I was doing something for a radio station that I worked for. I have always said I wanted to go there to get my work done. The owners have changed and so have the artists, but I felt like this is where I wanted to go. The location is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. There were 6 cars parked out front and I thought that meant there would be a wait. I was wrong. The shop is really large and can handle multiple clients at a time. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by the owner, Travis. I explained to him what I wanted done and he told me he could fit me in right now. He told me that they are pretty busy through April but because mine was simple he could get to it. His tattoo booth are was clean and well organized. I watched him take extra steps to insure an aseptic and sanitized technique. He talked to me throughout which helped with the slight discomfort/pain. We talked about some possible additions in the future to my simple tattoo. The whole process was less than 30 minutes. At the conclusion, he walked me through the after care process and he thanked me, I paid up (very reasonable) and I was on my way. The whole time I was in the shop, I felt comfortable and welcomed. He made sure that he asked me if it was okay if someone who just walked in the front door could come back so he could answer their questions. I appreciated the courtesy. I waited almost 20 years to get it updated and I am glad that I chose Sacred Apple.
