Exploring the vault rooms on the ground and lower levels is also a great way to spend time. If you are looking for quality art, primarily with a Maine theme (including wonderful coastal and boating scenes), and don't want to overpay for mediocre artwork, this gallery should be near the top of your list in mid coast Maine. The owner is very knowledgeable about his artists and their work and goes out of his way to see that you are fully satisfied with your purchase. In our case, he willingly offered to swap frames, even waiting for "the right one" to arrive a week later. We highly recommend this gallery.
