Home warranty approved but Ray refused to return to fix the issue. What I don't understand is why Ray doesn't guarantee the repair when he was paid to inspect and complete the service? and the issue wasn't fix but slightly worse. Ray - you should either return the payment or perform the service you were paid for. I have the maintenance request plus pictures - if proof are needed.

After a fairly rainy season, we had water damage inside our family room appearing along the seam…read morewhere the wall connected to the vaulted ceiling. It was a fairly long seam developing a crack, perhaps 8', but it did seem to us that the problem was originating at the top of the seam with the water running down the sloped ceiling. We had one company out and despite inspection of the roof they weren't able to pinpoint the issue... leaving us with one estimate to fix random "potential" sources of the problem and another quote to redo that entire side of the roof (even tho the shingles still had plenty of life time remaining). We called Ray for a second opinion. His inspection confirmed the roof is still good but revealed one shingle nail which had come loose, allowing rain to get under the shingle, etc. and run down the ceiling seam thanks to gravity. He patched up the bad spot in the shingle for very minimal cost. We waited three weeks, through some more rain, and confirmed that the drywall which was being damaged was now continually dry. Problem fixed! Ray then came out and repaired the damaged drywall seam between the wall and ceiling for very minimal cost. Ray is a gifted workman and honorable gentleman. Highly recommend.

I really appreciated their policy of waiting for enough dry weather to actually finish... (especially when watching the exposed wood-composite of two of my neighbors get rained upon because their contractor was apparently more interested in schedules than the home they were working on). Sometimes James was difficult to get on the phone but he always, without fail, communicated via email, text or callback within 2-12 hours, sometimes quicker. The crew showed up timely, did great work, cleaned up daily and they were done on schedule. They were all very friendly and courteous and respectful of us and our property. I thought this was very shady and decided to try another roofing company "Lon Smith" that was recommended by a friend. Trent came out for the initial inspection of the roof and he spent a solid hour to write everything up to make sure it was all documented. Once the insurance company came out and told us how much they would pay for the roof replacement, Lon Smith worked on my behalf to negotiating with the insurance company on why the replacement of the roof was more then originally quoted by the insurance company. It was nice to not have to do this part on my own. Trent did let us know that our roof did not have adequate ventilation according to today's standards/code. At no cost to us, they installed more ventilation and also upgrade the previous ventilation that was used. The actual replacement of the roof went as well as I would think a roof replacement could go. They showed up right on time in the morning, and began bright and early. I went to work, while my wife stayed home during the installation, and by the time I returned from work at 5 they were completely done. They did a wonderful job laying out tarps to catch nails and debris. They also performed a thorough cleanup. One thing that separated Lon Smith from the rest besides everything that I previously mentioned was, they have an employee come by a few days later to inspect the work that was completed to make sure everything was installed correctly. They also asked if we had any concerns, which we mentioned a few minor things like we could see some finger prints on the siding of the house, which he took care of. So to sum it up, I would say it was a pleasure to work with Lon Smith, and they really did a great job on our roof.

Two top-selling competitors told us that we had significant hail damage and one of the two had even convinced us to call in a claim to our insurance company, totally a hard sell. Stamper sent out two people to inspect the roof and told us that in fact our roof was actually in good shape. We just had some minor damage. Rosemary recommended that we withdraw the claim, thus saving us a huge amount (5 figures) with the deductible and depreciation. Greatly appreciate the honesty and integrity. We had a gas leak and since Robert Bold would not respond we were forced to call the fire department who shut off our gas. They did not come back to properly fix the problem rather they dodged calls and hid behind text messages. Beware! Do not use! Bold roofing has cost my mom thousands of dollars in repairs.
