Performance aside, this is a school that should be an example of how well schools can work when faculty, parents, and community collaborate to reach a common goal of giving our children a well rounded education. All the props though really belong to the faculty here, they are tireless in their dedication and every one of them approachable and eager to work with you. Curriculum is built around language and reading. Children visit the Libra each day to check out books. They will also be receiving 30 minutes of Spanish instruction each day and will be amazingly fluent within their 5 year tenure at the school. Beyond that, the vibe is everything you hope and expect to find in East Nashville; friendly, open, diverse.
