This was a very important knowledgeable piece of information that this listing agent should've known about the condo association and she obviously didn't do her homework on this one. Turns out the condo association wasn't FHA approved. Everyone willingly accepted and signed the contract knowing that I was pre-approved for a FHA loan. I was under contract. After doing my home inspections it turns out the complex wasn't FHA approved. I was able to get back my earnest money down but as far as my inspections go that money I will never see again. I'm new to this home buying and now I know for the future I will need to do my own homework ahead of time and not rely on realtors.
