I was in a somewhat challenging position -- needed to get a cable modem installed and configured on Sanibel island at my family's condo using our own purchased cable modem. The cable service provider wouldn't do it, and my lovely renter didn't have the technical background. That's when I found Steve at island Computers. ~~ He worked with me and my renter, got the cable modem configured and the internet working beautifully. (He even helped out my renter in learning more about her iPad!). Very knowledgeable, able to be flexible with his schedule, followed through, and good communications. When my favorite Dell computer running Windows 7 failed completely and my favorite software would not run on my newer Dell with Windows 8, I contacted Steve Grilz at Island Computers. I am thrilled to report that he just returned my computer in working order and the last project I had been working on is right there where I had last saved it before the computer went dark.
