Just a 10 minute walk from the waterfront is this cheerful place. I went inside and ordered a flight and then went to sit in the small patio replete with yellow table umbrellas to await delivery. A perfect place to be outside on this hot summery day and enjoy some really good ciders. The flights are a choice of four from their large selection of hard and sweet ciders, all made from Nova Scotia apples. 4 ounces each so you get an ample 16 ounces in all.
They were all excellent and unique. Little Bestie was a "grapefruit margarita" with lime, mint, jalapeno, and ginger. The Breton Hopped had added hops for an intriguing bitter floral taste. There was the Rebel Rose, infused with rose petals. The Strawberry Lime was the only non-alcoholic of the four. All were excellent and the apple came through even the more complex mixes like the margaritas. All except the Strawberry Lime were on the dry side of the sweetness spectrum, and that's good with me.
They have events like trivia nights and music. These would surely keep me coming if I lived nearby, which I don't. But a nice place to visit. read more
