As soon as you enter the restaurant, your greeted "Aloha" from the welcoming staff. The restaurant itself is very clean, organized and roomy. The menu has so many selections that you'd want to try everything on there, from plate lunches, low carb plates, saimin, laulau's, party platters and much more. Born and raised in Hawaii and having a place like Island Hawaiian BBQ, it brings back all the Ono comfort foods from back home. This has been our 2nd time here in the past 2 days. First time here after reading the great reviews and it did not disappoint. My husband had the chicken lover plate with rice and macaroni salad. He said the mac salad was delicious. And I tried all three different kinds of his chicken and all were delicious. We had never had chicken mochiko and that was our favorite. I had the hawaiin bbq chicken bowl and it was delicious. The rice was perfect and the sauce they served in the side was so good. Had a sweet flavor that I really liked. We were given drinks on the house and service was great. The young lady behind the counter was very kind. I sat and looked at the menu while I ate looking for what I was going to have next time we come. I ordered the mini mochiko chicken for $10.75 and the portion was huge! I wasn't expecting that much food for such a great price. They also gave us free drinks which was so nice. My mom recommended it but I was pretty skeptical because I am Hawaiian and have been let down with other local spots. But this place definitely reminded me of the L&L bbq spots back home. We just saw that this restaurant had just opened and we were looking for something new to try. Right off the bat they were so welcoming and had patience with us as we read through the menu. Also it's very clean/neat inside! I got the chicken katsu 9/10 I'd just get it done a little bit more crispy but the favor is there! My husband got the short ribs 10/10 they were so good that we didn't even get to take a picture of it haha. Then the owner gave us an extra plate on the house and oh my goodness the mochiko chicken is 100/10 it's marinated in a sweet sauce and then fried! The proportions you get too are big for a good price! Best plate for me out of all 3 that we tried. Will definitely recommend again and again! read more

The food here is fantastic! It's a new business and I just happened to find it on Yelp as we were driving through Everett and hungry. The place is nice, very clean. The service is great - so friendly! Free drink with your first order. The food was absolutely insanely delicious and the best mac salad I think I've ever had. Finally found a legit Hawaiian place. They got lau lau! Haven't had it for a couple years. It was good, smoky and tender. The kalua pork was very tender and juicy. Kids love the galbi. Katsu also good. There are flies but it didn't bother me. The only thing is it's too far from my house. read more

First time here. Ordered a combo with fish, shrimp and short ribs with mac salad and rice. I enjoyed my plate and loved the Mac salad. My partner had the combo meat plate with chicken, beef and short ribs. He said the beef was dry, chewy and too sweet. I tried it and agreed. It was difficult to eat. I think marinated too long and overcooked? The short ribs for him were okay. The chicken was the only item he liked as it was tender. We would like to return and try the pork and lau-lau. read more

I am SOOO happy with this restaurant. They have actual Polynesian food, along with the Hawaiian/Asian stuff. Meat, macaroni salad, tropical drinks, everything tastes REALLY good! And they don't charge too much. Also, it's a fairly quiet place, no loud music, etc. read more
