There's a reason this place has so many poor reviews. When many different people say similar things sharing their collective negative experiences at the same place that should speak loud enough. Do your child a favor and look around at other places. This place cares much more about you giving them money than anything else. My two year old son has been attending this campus in Riverview for the last two months. I have had nothing but a pleasant experience. They had gotten me in right away, my son started the next Monday. We discussed a plan that worked for me for pick up and drop off with specific days. There is an app where I am directly connected. I am filled in throughout the day about the schedule of my son from nap time, changing diapers, and snack time. Of course they are pricey, but what daycare isn't? read more

***0 STARS*** After some time has passed I am now ready to right this honest review. I am hoping my review will help another parent protect their child. I enrolled my daughter in 2022 in the preschool room, she was 3 going on 4 years old. (FULLY POTTY TRAINED) She had previously been in 2 other daycares prior with no issues since she was a baby. I had recently moved and needed her closer to home. The initial tour was great and teachers, staff seemed friendly. Enrolled my daughter full time and she had an okay time adjusting to a new place. At first I thought it was just because it was a new place for her. Then things got worse. She started having tantrums going in the morning which was highly unlike her. I was told Nutella was fine in her lunch so I send it one day and when we get home I notice her lunch was NOT touched. I asked if she had ate lunch and she told me she did not get a lunch. I guess Nutella wasn't aloud so she went hungry that day??? No teacher/staff member notified me. That same week I picked her up and she was in new clothes. I was told she had a accident at nap time and she needed to be changed. (Was not notified again) My daughter told me later at home that she was not tired and that she was crying and the teacher yelled at her to go to sleep then proceeded to allegedly get physical with her. My daughter physically showed me what exactly happened. (I do not have any proof, I am going off what my daughter told me) She then proceeded to have accidents at home, that have never happened in the past!!!! I immediately contacted the daycare and had a sit down with the director (Bill). I was told he "investigated" and that it was found un true from the teacher. Never figured out exactly what happened and we never will....Of course they wouldn't own up to it. I was also told cameras were not operating said day this happened....how convenient. I pulled my daughter from the school and they had NO PROBLEM giving me all my money back for that month and not charging me anything extra for no notice. And to wrap it up, there is no good security system and ANYONE can enter the building or classrooms. ID's are not checked. And I have heard countless other horror stories over the past year of this place. Please, please consider another daycare. She was then enrolled in another daycare/school a few months later and THRIVED. She just graduated PRE-K and is ready for Kindergarten with no help from this place. I don't know exactly what happened and I will never know but shame on Island Kiddie Campus. read more

I'm sure it has its moments but I seen something I wasn't supposed to have seen. I was picking up my relative when the moment I walked in I seen one of the teachers, an african-american woman with greenish-brown colored eyes grab a kid from the back of his collar. The kid was walking into another room than instructed and the woman told the kid, "this way. learn to listen." and proceeded to move the kid from his collar into the room instructed. I understand the frustration of working with children, but if you can't handle it, you need to find a different profession. The lady looked at me and didn't seem to care that I seen her assault the kid. On the ride home I asked my relative what that ladies name was and he said "Mrs. Bailey." I'm not sure how accurate that is. I asked them furthermore if anyone hits them and my relative tells me, "Yeah, uhm.. Mrs. Bailey, Mrs. Shayla, and Mrs. Cathy." My relative would never lie about a situation this serious. This behavior is disgusting to see at a daycare that I thought so highly of. Absolutely disgusting. read more

I'll be respectful and keep the details to myself, however, if I were you, I'd find another daycare to take my child to. Stay away.

I am very impressed with the care so far. My nephew is 11 months old, and I became his foster mother when he was 3 months old. He was without a routine, anxious and having a very rough time in the beginning. The staff there has helped me get some stability in his life, and he is now thriving. Jane in the infant room is the absolute best! She treats these babies like they are her own. My nephew loves the other caregivers, but Jane is his favorite. And as for some of these other reviews that state that they don't call you when there is an issue with the child, that is so wrong. I am called every single time anything happens, from him bumping his head or scratching another baby. Safety is also a top priority at this center. We recently had an issue with the bio dad showing up there, and it was handled immediately, I was informed, and procedures were put in place to have the authorities there should it happen again. They acted quickly and correctly. He didn't even get in the building. For me, that is awesome. I can go to work knowing the baby is safe, happy, and taken care of. read more

If you asked me my review two years ago I would've told you this place was amazing but giving my current review I don't understand how this place is still open.!!! They have MULTIPLE state complaints. They USED to have a lot of good staff but now it's filled with girls that don't care as much and love drama. Parents should not know drama that's happening between coworkers or workers and management. The owners constantly lie to parents and it comes across as them being compulsive liars. They don't accept any responsibility when anything bad happens to your child and tend to blame a 2 year old. They don't call you to tell you that incidents have happened with your child either. This is a place for children under the age of five and it's sad but they have plenty of bullies and the center does not take appropriate action. Towards the end it became a very unhealthy environment for our daughter. I truly wish we had pulled her from the center earlier than we did. We have now going to a new daycare as an update and our daughter is learning so much more and so much faster. I truly wish I could tell every person to not send their child here. The lack of care a day care center has is mind-boggling. read more
