They didn't do the original tinting that was in the contract to match the concrete color with the rest of the lanai and never completed the rest of the work that was supposed to be done. Dirt was never hauled off. When the spa was delivered, we dug our own trenches for the electrical and had our neighbor provide the drill to make a proper hole for the electrical. They used most of our equipment- splashed concrete all over everything. Most promises were broken and our pergola was destroyed. I did not make the final payment based on damages and broken promises-- I heard other neighbors in the area had similar or worse experiences- good luck! Now about one year later, there are multiple cracks in the concrete- very disappointing!

My husband and I hired `Oihana because our electricity kept sagging when the hot water went on and…read morewe needed it fixed. They said we were overloaded on our electrical panel. We have a tankless hot water system. They said we needed to expand our electric panel and we paid them to do this. However, the lights still flicker when we turn on the hot water. Additionally, they never got the permit approval from the county although we paid for it, so the work is not permitted. Also, if you check the state contractors license board, they are not a licensed contractor, so we have no recourse but honest reviews. I also paid them to fix light switches which still don't work. To their credit, they did put in a 220v outlet in the kitchen for my electric oven and induction cooktop, and that is working. But that is the only thing they did that works and we are out of a lot of money. We are kapuna living on fixed income, so thousands of dollars wasted to fix something and it's still broke is a big deal. Another thing - check your invoices. They quoted me time and materials, but then they just charged one amount and didn't invoice time OR materials, just one lump sum for work that was never done. Then they said no county permit unless I paid balance in full for incomplete work, which we did, but still no county permit approval. I hired them based on good reviews, but I got bad service. I feel very taken advantage of.

They found a loose connection in the attic junction box which I would have never thought to look for. They were very professional, thorough and competitively priced. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend their services.

AllTech Professionals is everything I was looking for in a handyman. I would highly recommend…read moreAllTech Professionals, which is a family business. They just did a renovation job on one of my rental properties in Makiki. It included reflooring, painting, and numerous repairs and they delivered more than they promised. They are honest, reasonable, communicative, reliable, accommodating, and best of all hardworking with great quality workmanship. These qualities are certainly challenging to find in a handyman these days but I am happy to recommend them. I worked with Donovan, the foreman who kept in touch with me everyday and sent me photos of their progress. He is professional and super friendly and I appreciate how he met me at the hardware store, shopped for all the materials, and I paid the hardware store. This way I'm not making a blind deposit for "materials" bearing the risk of the contractor taking the money and running. Once a contract is signed they did require 50% Deposit on the labor cost but the work was already in progress. They're also fully insured. A neighbor in the same building was so impressed with their work that they hired them on the spot to have their flooring redone as well! I found AllTech Professionals on Yelp through their "Obtain a Quote" process. I love Yelp for this feature as it has saved me so much time on managing my projects. They responded right away, showed up on time to the appointment, understood the tasks without overselling, we worked on the written agreement and purchased supplies the next day, and the job started the day after and was finished in the estimated timeframe they promised. What's not to love?! Call Donovan at (808)208-1773. He and his brother Ben did an excellent job. They have operations on Oahu and Maui. Mahalo, Donovan and AllTech Professionals.
